I got myself an electric guitar and Rocksmith last week. Its is really awesome and your lessons helped me to learn the basics of guitar playing. And after just 4 months i am able to rock on an Electric guitar :p

Nice lesson. To give a fuller sound try playing an E Major rather than an E5 for the opening and the riff. For the A5 chord, in the verses, use the tried and tested shuffle boogie (Chuck Berry Style) alternating between the A5 and the 4th fret of the D string. The riff at the end you can play in the first position as well but I generally play the power chords E5 and G5 over that at the 7th and 10th frets.
Yeah that's exactly right if you fire it off with just a good old-fashioned standard e no fancy tuning or nothing it just gives it a little extra oomph
i like to play the riff open then bend Big E at the 2nd fret, makes it growl more like Bolan. i was just showing my son about it being the same notes either way, but moves like a cat much more bending at E2, rather than straight E3....just my tuppence.

Cool video. Like the way you really dissect the song and explain what's happening. BUT... the intro chord is, in fact, a full E Major chord, not an E5. And pretty sure the line is "I move like a cat, charge like a ram, sting like a bee..." - you can hear it more clearly in live acoustic performances, as he kind of slurs it all on the record. Otherwise great tutorial.
