Put mine together today and I’m very happy with the purchase. Super-simple design, simple modularity and great quality. Much easier buying process than trying to cobble together something from Spiritus (good luck!) and I love supporting a company so in tune with traditional American values.
I just got mine and i love it. I was on the fence about it because of the price. Bought it with two hydration pouches. As someone who has only owned Condor gear (which I still like) i was immediately aware of the quality difference. Its difficult to explain, but the trex rig feels thinner, but stronger. Ive heard others complain that it rides too high, but you can move the buckles on the H harness. If you are on the fence, i say JUMP! 🤘
Recently acquired my mc chest rig and right away I love it as a replacement to my army issued taps/ataps rigs, works way better for wearing my ruck and the harness is super comfy compared to said army issued products.
I have a magazine pouch on my belt that holds three 5.56 mags two .308 mags or two 7rd shotgun cards. Im glad this chest rig can accommodate my belt set up wether im running a .308 or my AR15. The back straps and hooks looks like it can take a backpack like the haley flatpack
The molle cummerbund seems like such a no brainer feature but it’s so damn hard to find other chest rigs with them. Still searching for the modular chest rig that has a molle panel on the front and molle cummerbunds on the side so it can be accessorized how I want.
Had a mayflower rig. Love it to death. Carry 7 mags and a knife in one of the mag pouches. But I can’t carry water, and the Velcro is so high up I can’t find a dangler that can reach it to run meds. So just ordered this. Now can carry water. Just got the med H dangler. And still get a GP pouch for all the other stuff I got. Wish this would’ve came out before I got the mayflower. And when it comes in the mail gonna see if I can fit my esee 4 in the right radio pouch tied down with some bungee cord.
Same issue bro, I had to take my mayflower apart and re-upholstery it to accommodate a Velcro panel. I still run it, but still want the ability to carry water. How are you liking the new rig so far?
