This is a very sturdy and well built mower. I thought I wouldn't like the foot operated speed control but after one use ru-vid.comUgkxTZSPVwJFBv2hORqhQamtxi-tAe5K2EtC , I can't believe I ever had one without it. It drives like a car with an automatic transmission. Easy to adjust mowing speed according to grass depth/thickness. I have yet to get used to the long throw of the blade engagement lever but kind of get why it is that way. It allows you to hold mowing for short moments if you need. The engine seems very substantial and the frame has very little flex, both adding up to an impressive package. All my previous tractors were 18 to21 hp with 42in decks. This one is 23/46. I mow about 1.5 acres about every 5 days here in Alaska and that mowing time has been reduced by about 20%, partly due to the very tight turning radius. No loop arounds lol. Hour meter, cruise control, reverse mowing capability,deck cleanout and easy assembly all add up to a very well thought out tractor.

I bought a t2290 in spring of 2018. I've used it 3 mowing seasons. It's really been a dependable mower with no problems.

That gr2120 is an 11k dollar machine. Might as well spend a few more bucks and get a bx with all the versatility......

Aside from the tire size, you missed the big purported difference between the T2290 and the lesser models, the 48” deck models have a Hydro Gear g730 (respectable) whereas the lesser models are not the same.

Can you put a 3 point hitch on the gr2120 Kubota for gardening?

I was surprised to see the gr series had stamped decks and the t series had fabricated but that said the stamped decks still looked heavy gage. Thanks nice mowers

Thanks for someone finally creating a video on the new Kubota T90 series. I’m really struggling with the idea of the new 2 pedal HST vs the previous 1 pedal. What are your thoughts on this?

Good presentation. I have questions regarding reliability since a lot of the earlier models required a ton of warranty work. It appears Kubota redesigned these around 2016 and they appear to have improved a lot. Is that true or are you still doing a lot of warranty work on models after 2017? Second question is I have about a 20 degree incline to blow snow in my driveway of approximately 100'. Will this machine perform well having all that weight in the front with the blower and get up that hill since with this model one is, I am told, unable to use chains? I would appreciate a reply please. Winter is coming and is going to be bad here in the Northeast. Thank you

Is it me or is the seating position obnoxiously high?

Mine rolled away down over the hill.

It seems that all riding mowers are for grass. Are there any out there that can cut weeds that are 2 ft tall and almost an inch thick? Having a fully enclosed deck just pushes down the weeds such that the blades can't cut them.

I wish you would put some prices on these machines

I have pretty significant hills to mow and the gr series looks like it has what I need. I can't find pricing to see if I should be considering it.

How are the GR 2120's with a big guy of about 120kg? Will they still perform the same?

I always wanted the GR2120. But when I finally went to website to build and price, there was no selection for 21hp diesel. Did Kubota change the engine size of GR2120? Build your own selection shows 17.5 hp. However price has increased. All engines on these riding mowers seem to be on smaller end of hp scale compared to even box stores.

My T2290-42 does not have the normal grease zerks, why?

I love my bx23s, it makes all the gr owners jealous 😋
