When I hear Bro. Barnes preaching, I think of how often I complicate things by overthinking it. Love how simple and straight forward the message is. God made us because he was lonely. Talk to God like a friend. Was thinking the other day about the scripture in revelation that says "depart from me ye workers of inequity, I knew you not." They were not intimate with God.
Truly God wasn’t lonely in creating man, but he did create humans to be in communion and fellowship with him. Nearly 7 billion people are without the knowledge of God and that truly grieves God and I am sure that he is lonesome as well. He was in the world and the world was made by him but the world knew him not… John 1:10 God truly is full of sorrow, for his deliverance is nigh to all creation. Turn from the darkness unto the light, seek my face and live saith the Lord. For I have paid the price for your liberty and yea will set you free.
