Minnesota played a flawed Suns team and Denver team that was a shell of themselves. Dallas played the overhyped Clippers and then the youngest team in the history of the Playoffs. Those paths weren't challenging at all.

As a Mavericks fan, I expect the Wolves will make a concerted effort to attack the paint more and pressure the Mavericks defense inside the paint. They’ll try to force them to either make defensive plays or foul. It wouldn’t surprise me if Gafford, Lively and/or Washington end up in foul trouble in the first half. I also expect the Wolves to throw various defensive strategies at Kyrie and Luka to force them out of rhythm and force the Dallas role players to make plays/shots. They’ll also make more of an effort to limit paint points for Dallas, probably leaving room for Dallas to have more open 3’s. The biggest improvement the Mavericks can make is making more 3’s. Even if they just go 10/30=33%, it will be much better than going 6/25=24%.
Never been a fan of Skip but I still want to say congrats because this show has been very watchable again lately, thanks to Paul Pierce (and Rachel) and Skip for toning down the trolling.

I hesitantly picked Dallas to win this series in 6. But I think its such a small margin for error for either team that either team can win in 6 or 7. Either team can win on the road, but this game 2 is huge for Minnesota. Its really hard to lose the first 2 at home then win 4 of 5 with 3 on the road. If Dallas wins tonite, I think Dallas will end this series in 5 or 6 games.

I've just been looking in to who Dereck Lively is. Apparently he is 7'1" and only 20 years old. He already looks like a major NBA player to me, and he is only going to add 15 pounds of muscle, a better shot, and some post moves over the next 2-3 years. Mavs dynasty could be here.

It is incomprehensible to me that they constantly portray Gobert as the problem. Do they never check the stats? I know the +/- stat doesn't explain everything, but Gobert has been the Wolves player with the best +/- record by far throughout the playoffs, it's not even close.
As a Mavs fan it’s really irritating when “analysts” just blatant skip over stats. Dallas was outscored by 36pts in 3 pointers and we still managed to win. Now imagine what happens if we actually make our shots like we normally do & you don’t get outlier games from McDaniels, Reid, Anderson.

Yup, bench the only guy with a POSITIVE + / - in game 1 (+10, not mild), sounds amazing.. Leveraging the value on 4 rebounds over double digits points of plus minus is mindblowing to me.. I'm not a Gobert fan but the hatred of some is starting to create antibodies within me that may look like little Gobert fans, because that's the curse y'all haters casted on me. Wolves should just blitz Luka and Kyrie like all the other bum teams and not let their ego get in the way. Their #1 defense is nothing against masters like Kyrie and Luka
