For those that don't know, Beyond All Reason is a free-to-play, open-source RTS game based on the legendary Total Annihilation. It uses a variant of the Spring engine called Recoil and receives regular updates from the team. There's something for everyone, from several PVE game modes to big PVP games.

Great match, also want to say thank you for deecent camera moves. For some reason other casters tend to overuse mouse wheel which makes me a sea sick.

Thanks for the kind words. I think others fall into the trap of zoom like they would be playing. Which is quick but doesn't make for as good viewing

Love the vids! One gripe is that I cannot understand why your're choosing any other background music than the in-game soundtrack. It is so much better than what you are playing in the background :/ Overall, great videos though, just my five cents.

Hey. There's a very good reason. The music in bar is made by several different artists. And they have different copyright usages. As such some of the music get claimed mlby yputubes copyright system. By using my on third party music which I have a royalty free contract with. I can avoid any of those problems. Don't get me wrong I love the in game soundtrack. But it's not worth me risking my channel to use it

The Ryan krane tracks are the main ones. But it's kinda luck of the draw. What happens is random companies flag your videos on behalf of the artist. Even if the artist has nothing to do with it. Then it's really hard to fight it with RU-vid. It might not happen to much yet due to BAR being small. But I have had it happen to one video and many vods on twitch, and some videos made for the official channel.

I call him R Andy "ar andy" As the r is not capital and the A is makes me think he intends it to be said like that and not randy. But who knows? Maybe he would be kind enough to grace this comment with an answer 😀

Great game! What kind of counters can you even have in this situation vs spy bots? They seem really frustrating and counter-intuitive to play against, since I assume they are radar-immune?

the best way to counter them is to have small cheap units in front. You will see Auto spammed out a bunch of grunts and scouts to get in front of his units to decloak the spy bots

@@Requiem_tv but that won't work when you have Sumo/Mammoths, which is what rAndy was using. So at that point, what can you do when your chaff is blasted apart precisely, and faster than you can make it?

isn't there a building that can detect cloaked units? you cant target them, but at least you know they're there

They are ment to be the entry level t3 for cortex in line with marauders so I think it fits. It's more the next step t3 is soo expensive

I understand the Shiva and Marauder have the Amphibious ability. So as we all know, in this business, where you gain in one area, you'll lose in another.
