Just soo everybody here is aware t4e had excellent customer service. They may not replace a part due to user issue but they absolutely go out of their way everytime I've dealt with them.
Very helpful video. Thanks to you! Anyone tried to put stronger hammer sping and got results? I managed to bring the pistol up to 10 joules only with a lighter valve spring, now i wonder if its worth the dissasembly just to change the hammer sping..
Well.. RU-vid would punish my channel more than it already has if I showed how to modify this sort of thing, but when there is a will there is a way. Tinker safely.
If you could please tell me how to tighten the hammer release lever back to spec cause mine stopped shooting after about 2weeks and I finally figured out that the hammer release lever is real loose and flops around so when you pull the trigger repeatedly it won’t shoot unless you shake it just right while pulling the trigger and Id love to use it again cause I only had it 2weeks then felt like I tossed 300 bucks in the trash. So any tips would be great 🥹🙏and Id be a subscriber for life.
Thanks this was super helpful. However when putting my gun back together the the piece that releases the hammer will not stay elevated and so my gun xdoes not fire when the gun is back together. Any suggestions for this?
When you dry fired it at the end of the video, why didn't the slide lock back since you were out of ammo? I can see in the video the follower is all the way up. Shouldn't the slide have locked back when it fired?
Great video, I did the same, only when separating the plastic handles, I lost the spring wire and now it only reloads like a 180-degree turn. Do you have any idea how to get this wire? I will be grateful
Can you please make one for the glock 17 gen 5 please ... i would say i love umarex / mcsus products but the only draw back is the fact that you cant just remove the slide as simply as a firearm. I hope one day they manage to actually make 1:1 replicas (including the ease of slide release and cleaning)
All the T4E stuff is typically built the same. Couple of pins and the entire firing mechanism and slide come out of the lower. I don’t own the Glock, but I can promise you it is the same. Watch out for fake pins.. mine had a few
My trigger connector spring came out and I can’t find where to put it back in. Its a funky hook shaped spring. Do you think you could help me with this?
Hello can anyone help me find parts for AT fouthe pistols. I have an HD50 and a Smith and Wesson .43 cal. Can't find any websites that sell the trigger mechanism hammer mechanism Springs any advice would be helpful thank you.
Hey, does anyone know how to fix the trigger arm not pulling the trigger? It was working just fine but when I put it back together, it doesn't fire when I pull the trigger, but if I hold the gun upside down it will fire. Does anyone know know to fix this, and yes everything is where it belongs.
That has to be the weirdest thing I’ve ever heard. I’m probably stating the obvious, but everything cannot be where it is supposed to be or it would work. If you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable must be the truth. Rip it apart and start over my friend.
Nope my trigger doesn't want to work right away after 6 or 9 times it will fire I never took it apart and my clip release is broken just from using one day and now my clip wont stay In
That is a good question. When I was dealing with Umarex, they explicitly told me that they won’t make replacement parts available. I was kind of upset, my first one needed a firing pin, which broke under warranty, so they sent me a whole new unit instead of a pin.
@@stack9279 I hate to say this, especially as a owner of the T4E smith and Wesson as well. But if you’ve gone through three mag releases I would upgrade to the new glock model. It has an actual to spec mag release. Love my mp9 but that catch is it’s Achilles heel.
Dang! I just ordered the extended mag release from springer precision for the real steel version in hopes I could use it in my T4E due to the original plastic one breaking by simply inserting my mag. I'll try it once it arrives as I got nothing to lose.
Eek. From what I know (now) the firing pin in the slide can rest on the magazine. If, heavy on the if, this is case, then your about to break/lose your firing pin. The pin can rest inside the little port for the valve. I would try holding the slide back a bit and hit the mag release. If it doesn’t help, then I would be looking at removing the back strap and then try cycling the mag in/mag out. If that doesn’t work, then I would start stripping the marker apart until you can get the mag in/out with a hang up, this should reveal your problem. As I have never encountered this problem myself, it is hard to say exactly where the issue is. Hope this helps.
Haha, needed this video last week when my M&P firing pin spring decided to give up. This was after I called Umarex and was told because it’s out of warranty and no parts are available, it can’t be fixed. Bye.
On my first M&P9 the firing pin blew out the back side, this was on day 85 of the 90 day warranty. I got lucky, this model is def out of warranty. A new pin can easily fashioned at a machine shop in like 15 minutes. Provided you still have the old. Thanks for your watching!
...Wut? .. The slide catch lever spring pushes the lever upwards on this one? And the slide gets locked back without a magazine inserted? Did I miss something here? (I only own the T4E PPQ myself). Usually the spring keeps the slide catch lever secured down during shot cycles - until the magazine's follower pushes the catch lever upwards when the mag is empty... and the empty mag did not lock the slide back when test fired. Not sure if all went right here. But it is a S&W...and I do not own any S&Ws myself, so who am I to say, as long as the owner of one is happy.
I noticed the same thing.... on a pistol with the mag released the slide doesnt lock back... it only locks back on an empty mag... isn't that how a real gun works? That you can rack the slide as much as you want with no mag but that it only locks with an empty mag inside?
@@gillandro2 Yes. And also works so on firearms. The only "funny" slide catch/release lever I've come across has been on a 1911 BB (KWC) pistol of mine - which does not go down unless manually done so. Locks well back the slide by the magazine's follower after last BB, but won't release with just a racking of the slide - no matter if an empty mag inside, or not. But commonly the slide catch lever has a weak spring to hold it down - and then the magazine's spring overpowers it when mag is empty..
