If Tekken wasn't so hyperfocused on the Mishima bloodline, and so allergic to let anyone not part of it win any tournaments, I 100% believe that Wang's ending would've been made canon.

More people need to have a story like Wang, there was no reason why this kind of depth could not be given to the main characters, but they just got neglected almost, I like emotional journeys in my games and it'd be nice for more Tekken stories to have writing like this, keep Lee, Heihachi and characters like that with their comical stories, they're comical for a reason, but characters like Jin and Kazuya need to progress to this kind of depth seeing as they are the new main faces of Tekken now.

Interesting fact, Wang has the most cutscenes with other characters, being the only one who has 4 of them.

If Harada is really planing to make a season 3, I hope they bring Wang back. I always thought his fighting style was really cool. Plus, intros and outros in chinese are always welcomed. Also, that ending always gives me chills. Good stuff

What i like about tekken 5 and they maybe should thing about it in tekken 7 is the camera distance, besides giving you more stuff to see it kinda makes it at least in TMM case the stream looking better, you have a full view of both characters and none of them getting over layed by the twitch chat or his cam.

this story actually made me cry and i was able to take a character and its story seriously for once from uhh 98% of any of them because most of this is garbage, well done namco

I have a feeling you're actually making the fights longer by spamming the same move over and over because after a while AI just blocks it. Do some combos while you're showing a character you think that is interesting. Would make your content super fun to watch.

Wang would’ve made such a great character in Tekken 7. Almost 4 years into the game’s release and it still hurts my heart to this day to know that he might not ever come back

I could see this ending as a continuation of Jin's win against jinpanchi which is fitting dying in his best friend's arms, truly old manly tears are shed.

Would be cool if they add wang in season 3 but his just like his friend jinpachi consumed by darkness because he failed to destroy azazels core he was given the devils power almost consumed by it but he remembered that his friend jinpachi suffered just to keep this demon. Hence he retaliated against the demon to keep the world safe and wang says " I guess My time has not come yet my dear friend" while wondering egypt he saw the town where hwoarang and DVJ fought he was with the crowd hiding with a coat because he still can't revert from his normal form and is still fighting against the demon. He saw how jin turned to DVJ and his power reacted to it. Then when lars comes in to take jin ,wang follows lars and jin to gain more knowledge on how to control this power. He didn't reveal himself simply because he doesn't want to endanger lars and the others because he knows if he goes berserk only jin can stop him. jin woke up and wang greets him and ask "jin what is your goal with the devil inside you" jin says" I will kill my father and end the curse of the mishima bloodline so the devil will no longer be a threat" and he while taking off his coat. says to jin "jin the great grand son of my dearest friend tell me how can I suppress this demon that not even the man I respected as my friend, rival ,and equal can control" Jin says " Im sorry wang, but for the sake of the world I must kill you"then of course wang agrees so he won't endanger the world and especially his grand daughter so he gets on his knees and says " Jin I know what must be done and I will be more than happy to do it but please don't ever tell xiayou about this" then in classic jin fashion he just nods.when jin was getting ready on killing wang... the demon suddenly attacks wang trying to take over his body again and before jin can do anything the demon has taken over but wang the badass the he is puts his hand in his chest and crushes his own heart BAM THATS HOW YOU ADD WANG IN TEKKEN 7 FUCK YEE

That 3rd stage was low key my favourite in Tekken 5
