In this video, I get into revealing, installing and reviewing the new T6.1 LED rear light upgrade from #Travelin-Lite Transporters and they are super easy to fit!
Big thank you to Travelin-Lite LTD for sending me the lights following my previous video where I was trying to get my previous existing rear lights to work as dual reversing lights......and failed 😒....That said, I am glad I did because this new look is baller and I'm loving it😎😎.

Nice lights and top job 👌 little tip as an auto electrician....mount the extra boxes the other way around as water will then run away, moisture could run down the cable into the box over time if the seal breaks down.

Hi Steve, the lights look great! I really like the side marker lights effect. Also the problem with the reversing lights is solved.Impressive how bright they are.I hope they are available in Germany too. ....

I need these! I was gonna go for the THQ versions but they don't have the twin reverse light feature and I have to reverse park in a pretty awkward space behind my house which becomes quite tricky in the dark winter nights......the single reverse light on the T6 is woeful.....even my old T4 had two lights on reverse as standard and gave way more light than the T6. Look a breeze to fit too.....thanks mate!

Great vid Steve, the two sticky boxes you attached each side are they marked where to stick them down or ok to get them just in that area ?

That's one awesome van 😎. To bad VW don't/won't bring any European version to the state's. My last VW was the original R the Golf MK4 R32 two doors and six on the floor the way a sports car should be no four banger DSG fart maker's, which I supercharged it and added plenty of go fast parts to much to list. Lost my R32 to a bad storm. Love the VR6 engine in my opion one of the best engine VW ever made. Enjoy the van .

You’ve made up my mind Steve🤘🏻 will def be getting these at some point! Just wondering about that cable you have to run from the right to left light, is it suspended in the actual bumper or have you attached it underneath somehow? I’m sure it will be a lot more clear when I get round to doing it.

😎. I’m. Glad the video has helped make up your mind☺️. Yes it tucks inside the bumper and there are a few sections within that you can thread a tie through and help keep up out of the way👌. Cable is perfect length wise to so not loads of spare 👍👍

Hey Steve! I hope you can answer a couple questions for me!🙏🏼 1. Are your THQ v2 headlights the chrome with black version? Also what bulb set up ru running? 2. Pretty certain your rear Traverlin-lite lights are the non smoked ones as the link takes you through to the non smoked but just wanted to make sure.. which are sadly out of stock:( Love the vids buddy!

Hi Steve, do the spokes on the Navis wheels stick proud of the rim ? Easily get kerbed ? Also, did you fit spacers on the rear ? Thx Phil

Hi Phil, The front of the spoke does sit proud on the 255 tyre possibly not if you can run/fit a 275. I am not running spacers on mine this is directly on the hub 👍

Hi Steve - just watching this again as I will be getting these..Just asking about the ‘link - wire’ ..I see you initially going through the rear bumper with it but how did you re-thread it back up OUT of the other end of bumper - is the space/hole big enough to easily retrieve it?…

Hi Steve, It is relatively, but I think I dropped a bit of string down where i was trying to come up and linked it to the cable and pulled it up and through... there is definitely enough room to bring it through without making extra holes 👍

@@SteveField I do think the boxes need waterproofing as they seem to me to be the Achilles heel of these lights, bought some " Self Amalgamating Tape" to wrap them in to try and mitigate the issue.

Lights look lovely shame the t6.1 lights will not actually work on the T6.1! Guess I will have to wait until someone comes up with a solution 😕

Pěkná práce. Blahopřeji. Moc hezké. I když už je to 2 roky staré video pro mě je to jako novinka. 😃. Kámo lze tyto světla aplikovat i na VW T 5.1 Caravelle ? Dělá se tolik tunningových světel a modelů, ale tyto jsou ze všech TOP 🥇🏆 , a máš nějaký odkaz kde je koupit ? Nebo přesné označení tak aby nedošlo k záměně s jinými světly ? Koukal jsem že si jich je spousty podobných . Díky moc za tvé video. 😊 a třeba mi napíšeš a odpovíš. Dante from 🇨🇿

I wish I had a t6 with a tailgate rather than the barn doors .the lights on the tailgate versions are better

Just a quick question steve what size wheels and tyres are you using and what make are they. Have you come across road humps and how was it .michael

Hi Michael, they are the Navis Twin 5 Spoke and the sizes are 20" with 255/35/20 tyres installed as i run Airlift Suspension making the road very forgiving even though its low.
