Here I try to demonstrate (On Stick & Pad) ways do the inputs for Bryan's Gatling Rush string in a consistent and efficient manner. The efficiency is the important part because we don't want to injure our hands in the process of mastering a fighting game technique--that's just counterproductive. Doing the Gatling Rush successfully has eluded me for many years now. But after sitting down and looking more critically at how it works, I've found it's not that difficult to do--it just requires the right approach (a calm and consistent rhythm). I do acknowledge that it's easier because I'm mapping a button as 1+2--but I feel it's important to do since Gatling Rush requires inhuman speeds without button mapping. It's actually pretty fun to do once you get the hang of it--now I know why LowHigh attempts it every chance he gets lol.

I hit it twice in a row, without looking, and only 2:11 into your video. Man I wish I found your guide sooner lmfao. Liked & Subbed for at minimum the sake of my hands

Yeah, I use pad and this is impossible. My thumb isn't fast enough. I don't know why they made this move so hard.

Bro the point is to freestyle on your opponents mid fight. I cant reposition my controller to do gatlin rush. The executions has to be quick when your opp is on wall splash
@cutcc

You can freestyle if you want.

It’s ethical to use a button for 1+2 or 3+4 also for other moves?
@cutcc
@cutcc 7 месяцев назад
I think for this specific situation (Bryan Gatling Rush), being a button purist w/ no mapping is actually kinda dangerous bc the speed required of individual button presses is so extreme. Mapping 1 button to 1+2 makes things relatively reasonable in this case.

@@cutcc yes for this move is almost mandatory

it's in the game and should be ok. i haven't really heard of tournaments banning button binds that are allowed within the game's settings.

@@cutcc dam i dont know how i missed that. by the way you say the normal one as a wall combo does the same damage as the normal ender, which is true if you raw splat into it, but it does more than the normal ender after a combo. you can also do 1 or 2 jab into it for more damage
@cutcc

@@ttacoguyy Oh that's good to know, 2 jab into gatling rush seems fun. Thx for the info.

@@cutccYou can do a b+3 cancel into it as well.

Thanks for this, I play on controller so my mapping is r2=1+2 and l2=3+4, l1 and r1 are set to grabs. Do you know how to do gatling for Steve?
@cutcc
@cutcc 7 месяцев назад
Indeed. I was actually gonna make a video on Steve's gatling first--but I got distracted =p. Steve's gatling is more practical/efficient than Bryan's gatling imo (at least on stick). No button mapping needed, just calmly press 1 & 2 with your index and middle finger w/ a good rhythm. I am looking more into strategies for pad execution.
