​@@eltniumgg974yeah but is heavily unfavorable for lidia, she has to know EXACTLY what the opponent is gonna press and chose accordingly, the opponent instead picks one option that beats 4 out of 5 options out of ff2 - horse stance, like: Jab: beats 2, floats 3 for a full combo, beats 4, kinda loses to 1+2 but that move is trash anyway, loses to 1, sometimes can be ducked by canceling stance Down jab: FULL LAUNCHES 1, beats 2, beats 4, beats 1+2, loses to 3 fro 47 dmg, and can only be blocked by canceling stance, super low risk, Armor: beats 1, beats 2, beats 3(some characters like king can bound you so beware), beats 4, gets lauched by 1+2, can be outplayed by canceling stance. Over all the defender has a super easy time, just rotate between jab and down jab, while lidias answer to those moves can get her killed.

Tbf, ducking against Lidia isn't a very good idea in most situations because no.1, she has easily the worst lows in the entire roster especially at neutral and no.2, her mids are very scary.

@@leinad2934only in heat, since she can do 3 unblockable highs and delete around 80% of your hp. But yeah, outside of heat, I wouldn't duck much against her...

​@@stanislavchugunov Yeah, good point. Ducking and launch punishing the Heaven & Earth 1+2 definitely saved my life a few times. If you eat that H&E 1 launcher though... the outcome is even worse lol

It’s better to take Lidia’s low chop than to duck and be launched. If you don’t attack, this low won’t make you fall and Lidia will be minus frame and you can take your turn to beat her.

plus the character just came out, but that low jab seems like a good way to stop stance activations
