Either make Steve easier or make him stronger. A character of that skill requirements should not give that little return especially when Drag Feng Jin Yoshi Nina lilly king mains speed run tournaments as consistently as they do.
make steve easier? Hes a joke in comparison to T7 already.. It's his frames and moves that sucks not the execution my guy. His punishing is meh, It's like the only CH that's really rewarding is B1 but even B1 now in T8 just doesn't work as well. All characters have 10000000 million trillion range and can space the f out of steve, get of jail free card with heat, parries are stronger than ever (Reina/Jun/Hei/Asuka) And a lot of steves "Good followups" are on unsafe/no range moves or moves that you lose your turn for using.. Especially with how bad steves mids are, his best mid probably being df1 which has crap range. I would say QCF1 but unless you commit to flicker then it's unsafe, his lows are garbo. I'd say currently, hes in a worse position than paul.
