Hello! Thanks for this! With the T9 keyboard installed and enabled, how can I send voice messages? It says it’s a premium feature, but I do have voice messages enabled as a seperate keyboard. I suppose I’m asking if I can toggle to this option somehow? Thanks!
You don’t. That’s why sending a “double text” back in the day was such a big deal 😂 it’ll limit your use of the phone 🤷♂️ I won’t be leaving RU-vid comments in a day or two after I get my Cat S22 because of the limitations and I’ll have to spend my time doing other things 😂 it’s kinda the point
@@mattlove2110 the centre of the d-pad is an enter key, yes, but it functions as a “submit” button. One or two will use that as a “enter” key but it’s one or the other. It actually does work that way in YT comments, but when searching for videos it won’t drop to a new paragraph. Source: I’m sending this from my CAT S22. Also, when he has the little keyboard on screen you can there’s a whole extra row of selections than the keyboard offers, which includes the “new paragraph” button. It also has a backspace, which the CAT S22 has but it’s labeled the “C” key, standing for “clear”
👑 Just tested it. Headphones Connected: - Phone Open: Works as expected. - Phone Closed: Works as normal and volume controls etc work on headphones too. Headphones Not Connected: - Phone Open: Works as expected. - Phone Closed: Works as normal and volume controls etc work as expected. So it's good news all round!
I found if you are using the Google messages app that if you hit the speaker button twice you can then hit the middle to click the send button. The speaker button essentially functions as the tab key :) hope this helps!
No probs, by default, with the non-premium version of the T9 application, it appears whenever you click in to a place where you can type. Does that answer the question? Let me know if not and I can help.
I cant get the old T9 to predict anything. Atleast the AB keyboard (whatever that is) lets me type at snails pace. Any idea why the T9 kb only writes uncoherent gibberish?
It sounds like you aren't actually on the T9 keyboard, but I could be wrong. When you click the # what do you see in the top bar? If it's not En, then it's not T9 predictive.
Just got the phone, is it possible to have the t9 physical keyboard working as well as the touchscreen default one? Would be really convenient to have both at the same time. Thanks
Heya, you have to pay for premium and then you are able to set it to ‘off’ by default. It’s not expensive but didn’t want to show that in case people didn’t fancy paying! ☺️
I’ve not been able to get that to work, I’d Gboard is selected the keypad just inputs numbers. I’ll do a trial midweek to see if I can make it work and change a few settings.
@@DumbphonesUK jupp that's met problem atm. When i am at work i cant use the small qwerty its not durablle, so i Wanne use the T9. But at home i Wanne use qwerty. Other wise the phone is pretty useless for me😂 cuz then its Just a small small phone 😅
I had this problem too. in order to ensure that the phone recognises that there is a sim card in it, you have to put the sim card in, flip the small metal cover down and then slide it up. if it is not slid up then it does not even recognise that there is a sim card in it.
