In January 2020 I visited Cambodia. This video continues my visit to Siem Reap where I explored Ta Prohm Temple, one of the hundreds of temples in Cambodia. Ta Prohm is also known for a famous 2001 movie that was filmed here.

The echo chamber is awesome! Thankfully I have noise cancellation headphones so I could experience it!

I found that out on accident. I had listened to it numerous times and was disappointed thinking it wasn’t captured. It is something about how the chamber is designed

Thanks for sharing, my favorite temple is Angkor Wat. I’ve learned a lot of Khmer history from the stone carving on the wall. I hope you did not have problem coming back home.

You can learn so much from spending time at Angkor Wat. I was only there four hours once the sun came up and thought I learned a lot on my own but I learned a lot more once I returned home. I should have hired a guide. I returned home just before travel shutdowns began in February.

Thanks! I believe I got to 8 temples total. I just try to keep my videos to less than 20 minutes. I did the small loop but I believe I skipped a couple along the way. I did not do the large loop

Are u able to come into the United States right now? I know you are not banned
@TheCalvinChronicles
@TheCalvinChronicles 3 года назад
I am not up to date on travel restrictions since I have not left the US since one year ago. I am aware that there are restrictions from a handful of countries in Europe. Beginning today, American citizens who are returning to the US must have proof of a negative test result before being allowed to return to the US

Carvings sculptures have been stolen for a long time during France colonize, not removed because of buddha's religion

Thanks for your comments. I should have been more specific in my content. I was not referring to anything in the 20th century. I was referring to centuries prior when some temples changed based on changes between Hinduism and Buddhism. This was shared with me by official tour guides.

It’s crazy that there was so much science even so long ago. I also learned some other neat things at other temples that I’m going to cover in future videos

The temple were destroyed because France, they've been searching for the treasures of all the temples because Khmer people believed something belong to the death we don't touch but not today, Khmer people have been changed a lot
