@@vikraal6974 Actually I disagree with Slumdog Millionaires victory. The film is how hollywood wants to view on India and steeped in overtly Bollywood cliches. It is a technically sound film, but there are much better films dealing with it's themes in Bollywood. Also, while Tare Zameen Par may also be contain cliches, there are several films that follow similar themes and cliches like Stand and Deliver, Coach Carter etc, that have won critical acclaim and academy awards. Also, it's common knowledge that Oscars are not really fair and more an exercise in marketing than quality, so I can guarantee you that if it had not been made by a Hollywood director under the banner of a Hollywood studio, Slumdog would not even have been nominated.
Haan yaar... Humari Economics ki teacher toh buss Complaint karti rheti hai.... Itna Gussa aata hai uspe.. Aur humare Maths ke ek teacher the class ke samne Mazak urate the agar Question pucho toh..😞😞 School 1 saal aur Jhelna hai. Aur uske baad College mein professor o ko Jhelo... Zindagi Jhand ho rakhi hai...
My son has dyslexia... And he used to suffer same issues like ishan... I noticed these issues when he was 5 .... I took him to doctors, cried, prayed... He still has issues but he is such a bright child and coping day to day life so courageously... He is brave, has speech issues till date but I have faith in god, he will overcome his issues one day and I will hold his hand till my last breath.
Actually it's the real humanity that human never accepted, they only imposes their humanic nature as how they think Normal human, actually different types ( dyslexia , considered as disability ) can have more potential than natural human, as they think ( natural major humans community ) are superior..but the reality is very different.. Carry on.. hope you will succeed. .you and your son hope will have a prosperous life in future ..
this movie changed my life as a parent and as a teacher ....... hats offf this much expression of emotion and relation wont be seen ever again I think so ....... love from Pakistan
If all adults think like Amir, this generation can do wonders...afterall many dreams of youngsters are crushed by these stereotyped thoughts of their parents.
Shreoshee Banerjee Ghanta ...asal me sab ede bacche paida ho raile aajkal. Islie bare burhe keh gaye hai, hilaaya kam karo. Stress mat lo. To ede kam paida honge.
Aamir khan is just an actor. What you are seeing is not real, he is just displaying what was written in script. In real life, he is extremist and a womaniser. We Indians have a problem that what we see on screen, we start believing that the person would be the same in real life. Aamir khan only acts well, that's it.
@@honestopinion555 very true ... We should instead praise director and story writer of movie... Ameer Khan is just an actor who in real life is womanizer and fanatic kind of person
this movie is especially close to me, because i have a learning disability, and my parents didn’t understand for a very long time. but now that they have understood it, and allowed me to do what i feel i want to
I don't have dyslexia and I used to be an average student in school, till I was studying in middle school I liked painting and sketching I always won every drawing or painting competition in school. When I used to tell my father about it he was like ok not a big deal. He wanted me to only study and do nothing else, I was excellent in sports, won every athletic event in school, and when I was selected for the state athletic event and wanted to go for it, my father refused to send me. He always compared me with students who scored good in my class. He always told me spend your time in studying rather than doing all the painting stuff. I passed out my school and am preparing for the college entrance exam. It's been 4 years and I haven't painted anything or practiced sports just because I was trying to prove my self that I can score better in academics but no matter how hard I tried I was never able to. I left doing everything I used to love. My father made me do this. And the worst part is that all these years I thought I was the one going wrong and I am the one who isn't a good daughter. I am sorry Dad I am not what you wanted me to be🥀
Agreed that your father may have been wrong about not encouraging you .. But do you love your father ? If yes, then there would be some reason behind it.. he loves you too and therefore said and did what he thought was best for you . Today you have the option of doing the things you wanted always so don't lose your life and loved ones ,in harbouring any ill will towards your father .Do the things you want . When you are old enough probably you may understand why your father behaved the way he did. untill then please be patient and hopeful..
Our school showed this movie to us when we were in 5th std (9yr old ) in cinema hall. At that I didn't understood the concept of dyslexia . But now I am 22 yr old college student and I get it .
My school took our class to watch this film when I was in 2nd standard. Didn't understand anything back then," Yawning most of the time probably. As an adult i realised how much of good film it is. One of my favourites one of the best thing came out of bollywood. The music, the attitude of teachers, the parents truly an reflection of Indian society.
This part hit me as I have border line dyslexia . I jumble up words and have a hard time seeing but My mom helped with it I passed my 10 via external borad . Am now pursuing a chef's dream
Main har baar rota hun ye movie dekh kar. I have a daughter 8 years old who has low IQ. I watched this movie wen she was 2 years old. This movie made me a better parent. I m glad I didn't make the mistakes Ishan's dad made. 😭😭😭
@@doremifasolatee6258 great!! I don't know who has taught u this stuff ...heard grey matter? It doesn't increase in your brain thru any process except meditation!! Strange isn't it? Read about it
I have seen people commenting about Oscars. But it is way beyond the Oscar. The real appreciation is the people's love toward the movie .no matter how many time I see this movie .it always feels me the same like I m watching it first time . masterpiece ❤️ love you amir sir ❤️
Mere paas bhi ek student aya tha jo bohot slow tha samajh nai pata tha …. Even words read nai kar pata tha … but ab after 1 year he scored 80% …. He used to say that his favourite movie is tarien zameen par …. And wo mjhe amir khan jaise teacher se compare karta hai ki waise hi ho …. He brought chocolates for me to thank me … i was touched…. He is still my favourite student … he is in 4 th class now ….. ❤
The person who played father remind me of my father, I was demoralized frustrated and stressed from 8th till my graduation. He always thought of me as a responsibility, not as a son.
@@doremifasolatee6258 nope it's our responsibility to live up to their expectations you should realise that our life is owed to our parents without them we wouldn't even be borned so it's our responsibility to do what our parents wants us to .
@@himanshu7361 what???? Its true that none of us would be here if it weren’t for our parents. That doesn’t mean we should only do what they want us to do. Thats not how parent-child relationship should be. No parent should make children to force their dreams upon them and eventually ruin their lives.
@@iloveart9444 then it's your perspective but i would invest my life for my parents dream after all they are the reason why I can even comment here on RU-vid it's my responsibility to obey and fulfill their wishes
When he said that Ishaan stopped painting I cried 😭😭😭 and on the game what's written in Chinese I think is 4 players cuz it has the number 4 written on it 😂😂😂😅this scene is so heart touching... Never gets old for me ❤
I was of the same age of that boy when this movie got released i watched it may times but i got to know the message at the age of 13years Now I'm 17 i still get gosepumps on watching this
Namaste from India! Glad to see such global acceptance of this underrated film. It's heartening to know that the story has reasonated by Italians (& perhaps the larger European audience) because it's close to my heart and this particular scene is my absolute favourite.
@@ravykk8915 Underated does NOT imply rejected (by audience). This film and this specific scene is about parenting(& its lifelong damage on the growing child);how many people do you know who value this film to introspect about parenting styles among Indians? #InconvenientTruth
Children suffer the most..and they suffer silently. They can't even tell anyone when it's their own parents..who are torturing them. They feel helpless..destroyed..broken. But they endure all helplessly. They have nothing to rely upon..no resources to get help from. They're innocent. Please always..always be kind and loving to all children.
Doesn't matters bro....the parents think, this is diverting students...All parents want is fking grades ..plz indian parents listen and observe ur child rather than making them feel miserable because of comparisons
No matter how much bad is your kid at studying but i will surely support my kid till my last breath and will always try to be a support for him always. The dad shown here is a ttpical Indian dad, who keeps lots of unnecessary expectations from their kids and throws burden on their head. This is the main reason why India is behind from many countries even though we have more talents than them.
As a father his outlook was on point . His duty is to ensure that his son is ready to face the challenges of growing up and be a tough , independent man . His methods are backward I do agree but he came to terms with what his son was facing . No one knew about these things until this movie came out .
i just entered 11th and i keep getting low marks. my dad is disappointed every time i give an exam. i cant live like this. im bad at studies but i cant do anything. im stupid
Aamir Khan single-handedly contributed more to the society and country (Hindi speaking parts mostly) through his movies and shows like "Satyameva Jayate" than most politicians.
What you see in his movies and TV shows, is not a real Aamir khan. He is a womaniser and extremist. Ask any person who is working in film industry and know him closely.
I am one such parent, I am not sending her to Boarding school, infact I love & protect her alot. Unfortunately, there arw no such tecahers like Amir Khan. This is cruel, harsh & heartless society. No one care or understands someone's problem. We need many more glod persons like Amir Khan in this picture.
All we need is a loving parent who understands our kids and support them. Be a friend to them. Teach them martial arts , swimming, at early age which will boost their confidence and physical health. This will help them to face the real harsh world. Also try to understand his interest and talents. Take a career guidance tests to understand his hidden potential.
My son too. Real world is very cruel. We are fighting each day, but will never lose hope. He loves swimming. He doesn’t fits well in groups. Hence we hired private coach for him.
I am feeling so sad by saying that India will never change the mind setup of parents are always same to make their children doctor or engineer even they die don't matter
I have traveled across the length and breadth of India and I have not seen one person who is a beggar, who is a thief. Such wealth I have seen in the country, such high moral values, people of such caliber, that I do not think we would conquer this country, unless we break the very backbone of this nation, which is her spiritual and cultural heritage, and therefore, I propose that we replace her old and ancient education system, her culture, for if the Indians think that all that is foreign and English is good and greater than their own, they will lose their self esteem, their native culture and they will become what we want them, a truly dominated nation."Speech to the British Parliament, (1835)Thomas Babington Macaulay,
@@hevinmaulloo4366 see you got the whole message of the film wrong.... you are now again judging a person purely based on his spelling and vocabulary skills!!
The character of Aamir khan always reminds me of my Dad who is living in India and I'm here in a foreign land! My dad always encouraged me towards my passion rather than grades! Alhamdulillah now earning enough out of the country despite being a below average student!
I remember watching it with my mom and she just hugged me and later got me checked out.... turned out ADHD and dysgraphia...... this movie changed my life
What good will come out of that, our society is deeply engrossed and marks and certificate, no body cares much about talent and creativity.. parents and teachers are not our enemies
@Alex Caesar places like what, please inform, in my indian society, i have living for so long I don't see where creativity and not degree is respected.. a very few may get lucky still majority is suffering
Why does this movie make me cry more and more in every time I watch it like it's the first one? I don't remember any movie that touched me before like this.... It's really a piece of art.... Big fan from lebanon
I had a friend who wanted to do graduation in commerce and then MBA when he got the form from college his dad disapproved and asked to go for science he was scared he failed in 12th 2 times and later got graduated in arts My friend still regrets that day ... He should have told his dad

I can completely relate.Being the mother of a 10 year old kid who is neurodivergent ,i know what it means. But unlike these parents I'm and I will be a rock solid support for him.I never watched this movie after his diagnosis
Just saw the movie after a long time. I always wanted to be the Best at what i do, Since the day my Father made me to sit in the shop after college - Life had become hard. Thanks to the film - the ending scene, i was filled with tears. It really felt light after that. Although my parents want the Best for me, With every pain there was Abnormal Laugh and Mental strains. But the ending when he hugs his teacher and seeing the loved ones cry, Felt as though it was something i wanted but never got. It felt out the Box thinking. Really wonderful. 'THE BEST FILM OF ALL TIME'. 💓.
The click is November 2019 Who else is watching the Maestro by Aamir Khan from Indian woodland of movies. A master piece for people to acknowledge children's. HAT'S OFF AND BEYOND...... FROM PAKISTAN WITH RESPECT TO EACH MEMBER OF THE CAST.
We live in a society were all the parents and students demands a good teacher but no parents no student wants to be a good teacher so be grateful that you are still getting teachers in such environment
This movie teaches us a lesson... I love it.in fact, a teacher should be like amir khan who identifies the student's weakness points. If we get such a teacher in life... Many students life can be improved. Which parents are not available to get their child. They should watch it.their mentality can be change after watching it. How to deal with childrens.
I have OCD. I was treated like I was crazy and I thought I was too. I was shameful of myself but I've accepted myself and overcome the hurdle and understood I'm not crazy it's just w little OCD and there are others like me.
