Heart of Pacific
Each time than a wave crashes the shore it brings along something.
Distant old memories or trash thrown to sea.
Now from every coastline you can find traces of our presence,
large varieties of colorful plastic bottles and pellets and sand.
So come with me to the journey
through the eye of the beauty.
Across an ocean of grief
and beyond.
Until my ghastly tale is told
this heart of mine within me burns.
A love story of our time
from a heart of pacific.
We're on the Midway 2000 miles from the mainland.
A little sanctuary for hide and raise to large ocean birds.
Jet still you can grasp the bounty of mother nature,
but its quickly fading away, better look what you're feeding to children of earth.
