And it does not matter, people will cut you off no matter how loud your bike is. Pay attention to your surroundings and anticipate what the drivers will do
What changes in the straight pipe of a Zombie baffle that makes the sound change? I can understand the sound changing in the other baffles because of the baffle-wrap and the effect of heat.
@@heybruh3274 I can say that on my M8 softail the first few thousand miles I had back fire (pops) and a little bit of a tinny reverb. It’s very negligible. I noticed that went away after they set in. I had a friend get the same tips on his softail and fired them both up to compare and you can notice it.
Robert, funny, I am glad that someone else agrees with me on the sound of Indian bikes sounding like a sewing machine, at one time I almost purchased a Indian but the wife didn’t agree with the sound. Your bike sounds great with the Tab Performance pipes. I notice that your bike has a touch of Gold and it would be nice if you could get those end cap in Gold. Overall job well done and thank you for supporting and teaching us biker safe low speed maneuvering. God bless you, family and all of your Brothers in Blue from coast to coast, peace ✌🏾 out.
On my 2022 Indian Pursuit Limited Icon, I swapped out my Reinharts for the Tab Zombie pipes and wow! Night and day in the sound. The bike is now sounding like a real motorcycle! Your video sold me on them and just wanted to thank you. Also, your videos on slow riding has been a huge help and confidence booster for me personally. The Pursuit is my first bike with a fairing (previous bike was a Chief Vintage) so it took some time to get use to and combine that with your trainings, she rides great! Thank you for what you do and have a blessed 2024!
Thx sir I'm looking at getting an Indian springfield and I was doing my research on tabs because I like your Harley 50s and found out I could get the 4.5 for a indian so I learned something new today thx again and I love the sound of the 4.5 on yours it sounds smoother running n deeper awesome job. Hilbily from Arkansas might be moving to Georgia asap and yesbof course I'm going to come to a practice session of yours if I do
Yes..Love it brother! Installed the 4.5 Tabs on my 22 Springfield a few months ago at your recommendation and have been blazing all over East TN since. It’s a beautiful look and sound! Congratulations buddy😎
Nice. I put Zombie Tabs on my Pursuit Elite as soon as I bought it. I like the look of the Indian 6 Shooter tips and they fit the Tabs…Look great together and of course they sound awesome!
One of my bikes is a Victory cruiser. Victory motorcycles sounded exactly like this when stock as well. What's funny is that I said the same thing about them sounding like sewing machines. Mine is done up with cams, intake and a proper set of ground pounders. My other bike is a k1600b which isn't loud at all. I really want a challenger.
Rob! Sorry, I just watched this, and was like hey wait a minute. That was my Chieftain in session 74 Maryland lmao. Glad you liked the turned out look . Sad to see you selling the pursuit tho.
I went with Tab performance with Zombie Baffles, Straight Cut Tip, for my '23 Pursuit Elite ,too. It is very easy to install the slip-ons. (It is different sound than my '15 HD Limited, which has dual Thunder Headers full exhaust. I love that sound.) I am waiting for Lloydz to release their Tune. Then I will get their cams and tune. I have Sawicki 2 into 1 full length exhaust (in the box) in my garage....but, I cannot install the exhaust until the tune is released. As for the name, my wife calls the Elite, "Vader".
I got the 4.5" tab pipes w/medium baffles, thunderstroke headpipe 2-1-2, and PV3 for my 2020 Roadmaster. I had to go through dynojet using the link Scott from Tab Performance sent me to get a tune for my bike since there wasn't a compatable tune already installed on the PV3 ordered. Sounds awesome!
Those slip-on pipes sound great! I could tell the difference between the factory and Tab performance when you fired up the Indian. Definitely will look into some for myself in the near future. Ride on and be safe!
Dude! That growl is SICK! I'm torn - Road Glide or Dark Horse (so... HD or DH 😁) one of the things pushing me AWAY from Indian was that "Japanese bike" sound. This made me aware of some options! Thanks 👍

That's awesome looking really awesome and sounds amazing absolutely loving them. I have the TAB PERFORMANCE 4.5 SLIP ONS with ZOMBIE BAFFLES and SLASH BACK TIPS in BLACK with Z RINGS torque corns fitted just gives it that finished look. Really appreciate the great information keeping coming Bud.👌
Sehr tolles Video, weiter so......✌🏻👍🏻
Sounds incredible. I can't wait to get tab pipes again for my harley. I had em on my old harley I had to unfortunately sell, I have bassani on my newer road king, but definitely want that zombie baffle sound again.
@tomm9493 ....unfortunately the 750$ tag on the mufflers is not priority for me now.....I'm not rich sad to say, but I have a beautiful family. Thanks for the comment man.
😂 I have an Indian chief vintage. My buddy, who rides a Harley, says it sounds like the Jetsons flying car from behind ! I really need to change my stock exhaust. :/
Hey man love your videos I watch them when I can. Just curious though, is that a oil leak on the left side of your bike ? I noticed a drip when you showed the start up part of the video. Couldn't really tell if it was a water drip or oil but it did look black in the video. Stay safe hope you have a smooth ride.
The HD pipes won't fit that bike because of the diameter of the factory exhaust pipe it bolts to. 2017 (I think that is when it started) models of HD bikes in that class don't have matching diameter pipes to bolt to. One side is a larger diameter than the other. I believe the Indian like my bike and older HD, uses the same diameter pipes on both sides. The bike sounds AWESOME!! and looks good with those pipes.

And so the eternal debate goes on. Duals on a Challenger/Pursuit may sound good & look closer to what we're used to on a v-twin, but they rob you of the full performance potential of the bike. 2 into 1 gives to the full performance potential, but it takes some getting used to as it is not the standard look. You could run a ghost pipe if you need that look. Then there is the argument about liquid cooled not sounding as good as a air cooled engine. Being a Thunderstroke guy, I'm partial, but it could be subjective..... Enjoy your ride ....
Quick question Sir Robert just wanted to know why did you get rid of the Breakout you had ? Did you feel like you were to big for it? I'm 6'4" and really like that bike I ride a 2020 Heritage classic which I think is a very good all around motorcycle. Thank you in advance for your answer. Ace The Bear, Balto. Maryland
@@Cjusmc28 I have Rineharts on 3 Harleys and an Indian Chieftain Dark Horse. I love the sound. However, when I get my Pursuit Dark Horse Premium, I’m going to switch it up to the 4.5” Tabs.
Is there a way for the aftermarket exhaust not to stick out so far on Indian motorcycles? I am considering purchasing an Indian, but that is an eyesore for me. I have also been trying to find stretched bags for the Indian.

That's great, but what Kind of performance upgrade does it bring? The truth is that loud pipes don't save lives. I'll debate anyone on the subject because I've been riding over 40 years
I agree with you. How long you’ve been riding doesn’t prove a lot in my experience. How long you’ve been practicing slow speed maneuvers interest me so much more. Thank you for watching and hopefully you’re subscribed to my RU-vid channel!👍🏾😊 ru-vid.com
