In this video I discuss the differences and similarities between these two peppers which are quite popular here in Louisiana. I also discuss the naming of each pepper. I also eat one of each, straight out of the garden. They were hot but good. #Tabasco #Crystalhotsauce

SDSBBQ Well then you are quite welcome. I was visiting my folks’ place and my wife’s folks’ last weekend, about a five hour drive away. They live north of New Orleans. I wasn’t able to make a cooking / recipe video while there, so I thought discussing the peppers in Dear Ol’ Dad’s garden would be a good idea. Thanks Dash.

Love this video and find myself returning to it perennially as cayennes come back in season. Can't eat them in one bite but I love them and can't wait for them to ripen. I like to just keep one in my pocket and nibble on it with my meals 😅

I did not know, that the growing of the peppers, were different, but I knew the shapes of each and the scoville levels. I was begging you not to eat those Chiles, but I couldn't turn away or skip forward, I had to watch. Thanks for the lesson. Nicely Done. Gracias por compartir. 😎.

I just had my first cayenne pepper this week. Ive been growing a cayenne and a serrano plant for a few months now out here in Las Vegas and the peppers finally turned red. A Very flavorful pepper. And it's crazy how different red serranos taste compared to green. Alot more flavor and way better in my opinion. Theres like 45 peppers on my cayenne plant

We let our Tabasco's dry out as it makes it easier to take the seeds. I also find they taste better when dried and with little smoke and wow.

ArmadilloPepper.com Thanks, I’ve eaten whole habaneros. That is probably the maximum I could tolerate. Not sure I would want to do a Ghost or Carolina Reaper. What kind of peppers do you grow? I know y’all make hot sauces. I really appreciate you watching.
