why to add a fuse ? I think I saw one in the connector already... 3:42, just along your thumb... Nice job anyway, you even inspired me to repair mine... I didn't think to the termal fuse and capacitor that are easy and cheap to fix... 😁 ... and I could listen to this music all the video long...

my industrial stand fan not have a problem at all after change capasitor 4uf and dont have bushing problem. the only problem is the speed not satisfied me after change capasitor. not slow but i think something wrong with that kind of speed. can you guys tell me its capasitor problem or motor weak in there?

First time attempting a repair. a balloon string got caught up in a fan and it isn't working. I don't know where to start. Blades spin if you turn them manually but I don't have a colt meter. When something like string gets so bound up the fan is forced to slow down then eventually stop is it a good assumption the motor burnt up? Or is it the capacitor? The small box with covered copper wires wound inside it the problem?

Danyell you must clear and clean the shaft from the balloon string first .. if the fan spin freely when you turned its by hand ... But not working when you turn on power ... That mean ... The capacitor or the fuse inside the coil already failed ... You need a multimeter to proceed ..

I, got one more question for you, if in desperation you need a 1.5A or 1A fast blow fuse can you use those in the old model TV,

Winston Clarke if the original fuse were between that's rate ... Yes you can ... But if the original fuse have a bigger rate more than 10A ... The 1.5A will blow right away when you turn on the TV

clean the motor housing from any dust ... try to spin the fan blade by hand .. the fan must spin freely

ভাই টেবিল ফ্যানের বুস ও সেফ নতুন লাগানো হয়েছে। কিন্তু তারপরো ফ্যান ঘুরছেনা। সুইচ অন করলে ফ্যানের মোটর কাঁপে আর হালকা শব্দ করে কিন্তু ঘুরে না।বুস ও সেল ঠিকভাবেই মাপ দিয়ে লাগানো হযেছে। এর সমস্যাটি কি হতে পারে? প্লিজ জানান
