The movie twist was such a shock for me at the time! It was so clever of the film to have audience root for the main characters and sympathize with them until the last 10 mins where the tables suddenly turn and you are like “they deserved this and more jerks!!!”

Well, I'll go as far as saying this is the most shocking twist ever I've seen in a Bollywood movie. I was just 14 when I had watched it for the first time (11 years ago), and it had left me shocked and looking into the screen as the credits rolled. Today as a mature adult, this climax hits even more, pity that this gem of a movie still remains underrated ❤❤❤

One of the best and definitely THE MOST hard-hitting thriller ever made in Bollywood. 11 years later, still this movie stays underrated. I remember watching it as a 14 year old and the climax left me shocked. Was too young to realize how great this movie was. Shame that even today, this movie remains underrated in India.

Check out Aamir(2008)! The film stars Rajeev Khandelwal as well, the lead from Table No. 21. That movie is mind blowing for it's plot and the unpredictability that it carries. Aamir has no soundtracks so it is easy to get through copyright and is quite short for an Indian movie. The runtime is around 96 minutes. This movie has everything that a movie or a storyline should have. It is also Rajeev Khandelwal's first movie. It would be great to see you guys reacting to it as now you're familiar with the actor. It will not only entertain the audience but also leave the viewers in shock. Hope to see a reaction soon. Cheers!

Paresh rawal was a hero of this movie; more like antihero. Twist was great. Ragging is serious issue even today. Must of seniors forced you to smoke/drink/use bad words etc. Glad i never did this type of bully to my juniors even when ragging was common in our hostel.

Bullying is worse than this in India...I got bullied by seniors when I was a junior myself..i was in 4th standard...they pretty much slapped me around..poured water over me and a lot worse...i had to go through it everyday until i became a senior myself....I am 29 now..and its still traumatizes me when I think about it. A lot students die every year in India cuz of bullying and that's why this film is such a block blaster..cuz its relatable to many.

a guy was getting ragged and another dude felt bad for him so he complained it to the warden and told the names of those who were involved. ALL of them barged into his room one day and beat him up so badly that his face was kinda left bent. he was hospitalized since they had also broken his bones. the repercussions are super serious so I understand if people don't want to save others in this system. not saying it's the right thing to do but you have no choice.

I haven't watched this movie since college cause it is so triggering. I have experienced bullying (not upto this extent) in college and no it's not a joke or fun when it is at someone's expense especially when that person is just minding their own business. And in real life these bullies go on to have great lives but you just sit trying to push those memories out. I can never justify this behaviour no matter how much someone say 'oh but then they will help you in future, it is just bonding exercise'. No sir/ma'am, people help each other every day, in multiple ways with no prior introduction as well, and if bullying is your bonding exercise then something is fundamentally wrong with you.

Actually , you are imagining a harsh level of ragging thats why . My seniors just took my introduction while i sit on a toilet seat ( no , not naked) . I could have refused , and they would have let me go easily. But they would have never involved with me ever again . By accepting their conditions , i got big bros ,not just friends . Cuz they always come in handy . be it with providing me previous years questions, my btech project , assignments and what not . They always used to pay for us ,whenever we go outside to eat . And we did the same with our juniors . So , i would say , dont feel offended with people defending it . they just had a different kind of incidents . and you are comparing it with something like in this movie . Now a days , it happens rarely , in some shitty private colleges.

@@YoualrightboiGuess you never experienced the constant harassing calls from unknown numbers, memorising Paragraphs full of Rudimentary language, memorising all info ,partner details,etc. Of all seniors and perform in front them whenever and wherever they wanted. Made to do sit ups in front of everyone while holding your ears. All this and even if you try and fail at doing it perfectly, you'll get shouted at by 6 -7 seniors who surround you and insult you and say personal things just because you didn't obey them. You will get called in the middle of the night as and when they wished. All of this happens even in The TOP INSTITUTES of India. Just go have a read if you want to know more. Not only these things a lot more happens in the name of " Healthy Interaction". I am glad I never did anything like this to my juniors. Although it is not like it used to be , just because those Fuckers don't have the spine to touch someone( because of the recent Anti Ragging laws in place).PS there are even passive threats given ,that you wouldn't be supported by anyone even the professors, if he decided to complain. It is hard for new freshers to deal with all that ,especially if they are young. Ragging is not an Indian concept, it a western concept to Increase comradery in Soldiers. College students are not that.

No honey, violence is never the answer. I agree that what she did was bad but do you think it is easy for a mother to abort her own child? She had reasons. It's true that she should have asked him about his opinion. She made a mistake by not asking him even once before taking the decision but no matter what she does, he does not have the right to hit her in any way. And the same goes for her too. No matter what he does, she can't hit him in any way. They can argue and talk it out. People in India justify domestic violence almost all the time idk why. They were being dramatic cause if it was some American woman in the place of Siya, she would've broken up with the guy or at least would have held a grudge until the guy said sorry for hitting her. But show that scene to any elder Indian or even some youngsters(man or woman), the scene will be completely normal cause domestic violence is common in India. In every Indian household, every man has hit his woman at least once. And their children grew up seeing that and thought that it was pretty normal to think of your wife or your gf as your property. Even when Bobby slapped Siya without even asking her if what Vivaan said about them sleeping together was true. Like wtf!

Beautiful movie even i was also bullied in elementary/secondary school. I used to get slapped sometimes I also did fought back. There was time i didn't like going to school. My mom talked to those boys who used to bully me then it was stopped. Later on i changed the school. The Last school i was admitted I had a wonderful time.

I couldn't watch Table No.21 beyond the heinous ragging and shaving of Akram's head. This is the one movie which I absolutely love but never finished it. Poor Akram. No one should go through anything like this in real life. 😢

If Vivaan was bad, Sia was worst. Period!!!!And if slapping is bad Sia killed his child. She deserved worse than just a slap. Plus she committed adultery which might be common in the west but in India it is not. People take marriage seriously. Vivaan, she and their friends were equally responsible for Akram's state.

Adultery is super common in India. You just have to be subscribed to some Indian reddit subs. It got so depressing for me at one time because that's what I keep seeing - it's more depressing when children come to legal sub asking how can they help their mother or their father after they cheat on their spouses

Actually over her in India ragging in colleges and disrespecting people in there vicinity is quiet normal. I would like to say its daily one's bread and butter. I also get bullied in school just bcoz m new and introver that time ( plus just bcoz i dont have father ) In office i get bullied just bcoz m from lower cast ... nd they clearly mentioned my cast while bullying me ..worst thing no one took stand for me ..every day i was crying... even i get panic attack infront of them nd they start laughing on that .... I was only 19 thats my first job ...nd they spread rumors too like .I was married but now m divorced ( i was only 19 nd my weight is just 39kg that time) ...they even lock me in washroom... they pour water on me ...but worst they bullied me mentally too... Specially their is one women who is actually 30 that time and she always mentioned she is marwari and m from lower cast so i am not deserved to work with her ... 💔💔💔... i still get scared from those past traumas..nd in india mental health is joke

Luckily, my university never tolerated and completely banned ragging even before I joined the university. They were so strict that my super seniors who went through it and who also ragged a few of their juniors, i.e. my seniors and they wanted to do that to us too but were scared and helpless. Idk what example was set before we joined but I am glad. I only heard of the ragging stories from my sisters, and super seniors and on news. A little bit joke is what we all grew with, but luckily I never faced a full blown ragging. But mostly in MBBS department, especially Govt. MBBS institutes were infamous about this
