What’s offensive i would add about forgiveness and grace is the fact that God emphasizes that we don’t deserve it. By very definition grace means “undeserved favor”. The undeserved part offends the natural man inside others and inside us. Only God’s Holy Spirit can change our hearts towards God’s grace.
