Hi Deepak. In my experience, Clustering is really helpful for finding insights into segments of your clients. It is a really easy way to find groups of clients which act and operate in a similar manner, based on some shared characteristics. Trendlines, on the other hand, are really handy if you are analyzing growth over a period of time of a different segment or product, which you can then obviously compare against other segments or products. The examples are endless, and I encourage you to search for a couple of examples on the internet - there are plenty out there.
