Tableau Custom SQL with Parameters 

Hi can you help me I have two workbooks both from two different custom sqls. basically i want to drilldown 1st workbook in 2nd workbook so I added parameters in custom sql of 2nd workbook to show only selected data with the point of optimization, now i want to show data in 2nd workbook only which i selected in 1st workbook based on parameter in custom sql, by default i dont want to show any data in 2nd workbook

Can we pass dynamic parameters from SQL as a database through Tableau plz let me know ASAP if possible.....

Hi Question: I am trying to build a custom SQl query based on parameters for DB Name and Table Name. Basically I have a dashboard where I am trying to fetch Table Metadata by selecting DB/Schema name and Table Name. So Basically I want to build SELECT * FROM . Is it possible? .Any help or lead will be much appreciated
