Thanks for fine explanation :) a few quick F/Us: 1. Is there any problem if I set the different directory for each nodes? 2. Any rules / restrictions when setting the number of processes for node 2 / 3?

It should be ok on Windows server and redhat/centos with permission set for user. General rule is 4 physical core ( 8vCPU) and 16 Gb memory for 1 vizqlserver process. No restriction because of addional node. Restricion comes with hardware resource and license. Thanks Thanks

Clustering is failing on my instance. Not sure what I am missing. Should the nodes have the same os type?

Hey, yes all nodes should be Windows Server for windows env. Or all nodes must be linux in the cluster. Can't be mixed.
