Your videos are always helpful and concise. While I like being able to “cheat” by copying the formulae, I would love to know how those worked. Do you have a suggestion on how to get to understand each one? Thank you again for your work. 🌊
Love the quality material! I think it would be really great if you could briefly explain for what purposes the given viz is the best in the beginning of the video :) From my experience there are a lot of people who have a good hard skill in Tableau but lack the soft understanding when which viz to use
i am working on google bike share data analysis project. My table consists of columns : dates (ie 1/2/23 1:00 pm). bike duration (mins). I want to create this chart but i am stuck on your steps regarding "table name". what would be table name in my situation ?
Hi, I think you didn't show the calculations for Radial Length. So, My Radial X & Radial Y doesn’t get actual result. So couldn't learn till the end because of these missing formula in the video.
Great video, thanks! Is there a way to keep beams with null in the chart? I tried it to show strength finder data, but not all teams have all strengths so the remaining beams were at different positions for each small multiple. 🌇
You would need to create a full join to a second data set that has lists all of the options for each team. It’s similar to what I did making the full year calendar to ensure null days are not skipped.
Having fun plugging my data into this and noticed that unfortunately the info is a little skewed as the length of the bursts/ lines isn't taking all of the data into consideration in the Trellis Chart. For example 32.911 in South is longer than 45.640 in East. Will have a look at trying to fix this. Anybody solved that already?
