Hi, I am getting the error Unable to change the join clause information for "Model" how can I fix it? I did the same thing like you did

This is gold! I can't believe it takes this much work and formatting in Tableau to get such a visual. Really wish Tableau would make things a little easier...but fantastic work. On TC_Sales and TC_Total Sales, why did you divide by 2? Also, aren't they the same calculation? More explanation on these two calculated fields would really help with my understanding. Thanks!

I have the same doubt , but I think since he is joining based on calculated field called 1 in the data source page , there because of 0 and 360 values in path table , we get double values for each segment ( we get two values because of join ) one with path as 0 and other with path as 360. I think that is why he is dividing by 2. I'm not 100% sure though

I added the path variable with values 0 and 360 manually in my data since the rows were less It came in the data same as yours but on dragging X and Y into columns and rows and then compute using path(bins) my x axis did not change. Its still starts from 0. Could you help as to what am i doing wrong?

I am using Tableau live connection with database and dont want to uses joins with any other data set. Is there any possibility to create a (Path bin) as an calculation ? Please advise

If we add path (0,180) data gets double except this visual if i have to show any other visuals because of (double data) total metric values showing double. So how can we avoid this issue on other visual ?

You have two options, 1) To create an additional data source without the densification applied, 2) create a measure that divides your values by 2.

@@rangsubbesrikanth3306 option 1) import the data source and do not have the additional data source with Path, you can have multiple data sources in a Worksheet. 2) create a Calculated Field, for example SUM(Sales)/2

It doesn't work in the new update. When I copy the table from excel and paste it in the data source, no join relationship gets detected. Can you help me?

I will check with the new update, but you should get an error, but then you can set the calculation join. Does that work for you?

I just double checked, once you paste your first data set, you will need to double click on it to open it up, and then you can post your data in their.
