This is reality; a jamat came into my college when I was studying MBBS. I was busy preparing for the USMLE exam (the licensing exam for doctors in the USA). 5:43 - I melted and cried like a baby. The likes of M.T.J (who is a tableeghi) and these other tableeghis are the same people who gave me da’wah here in Canada 🇨🇦. May ALLAH reward them for every good deed that ALLAH gives me towfiq to do. Ameen. Thumma Ameen. My dads shia. Moms sunni alhamdulillah. Unfortunately, both parents are not too religious. I’m born and raised in 🇨🇦 and my parents are from Pakistan 🇵🇰. Let me just sidetrack and say Hindustan zindabaad 🇮🇳. Anyway, I was always confused. My parents always showed me more of duniya and less of dean. Duniya was always a part of their action. Dean was just on their tongues. But may ALLAH have mercy on them. Alhamdullilah through tabligh, I learned how to actually act upon dean. Tabligh and da’wah are the biggest sunaan of Rasulullah (saw). Before this sunnah and effort were introduced to me, I didn’t even properly know the meaning of the word hidiya (guidance). Alhamdulillah I joined the effort of tabligh and da’wah at the age of 17. Now I’m 29 alhamdulillah, turning 30 alhamdulillah and I’m still in the effort of tabligh and da’wah alhamdulillah. And yes, I’m sunni to the bone alhamdulillah and I follow the sunnah of Rasulullah (saw) through the Hanafi fiqh alhamdulillah. May ALLAH reward Imam Abu Hanifa (ra), immensely and grant him a palace near the blessed palace of Rasulullah (saw) in jannat-ul-ferdous. For those RU-vid reactors asking if assaulting tableeghi brothers is the way people behave and have behaved with brothers and sisters who do the effort of tableegh and da’wah, yes. People do behave in this manner and things have been a lot uglier than this right here. People have gotten extremely physical with brothers in tableegh and da’wah and the brothers did not do anything to avenge the beatdown they got from other people who actually claim to be Muslims themselves. Sisters in tableegh and da’wah might face insults but no one really assaults them at all, as far as I know. The reason is cuz when they go out in the path of ALLAH , they don’t stay at the masaajid of the areas they go to. They stay in an apartment where there are women only and no woman actually leaves the apartment for any reason. A lot of these women, when they return from the pa the of ALLAH , they stay home more as opposed to going out because Islam suggests that the best place for a woman, is home. As a matter of fact, a woman is more rewarded for performing her 5 time daily compulsory salah (prayer) at home.
