It's so good to see a Flames of War. I've missed this game so much since WH40k has really risen in popularity recently but heck, I miss my real life influenced TTG's so damn much, so thank you! :D And that is a very classy pointer! Took me a moment to realise it was a round on the end of a finely polished stick. That's ingenious! ... I want one.
Avanti Savoia! Always a pleasure to watch a Midwar game with italians. That two-formation list could probably work better defending, but two 9-bases platoons with smoke barrage (81/14 mortars) and PzIII support may assault very well. Great report, keep "FoWing" XD
Little axe symbol (from Wiki) The original symbol of fascism in Italy under Benito Mussolini was the fasces. This is an ancient Imperial Roman symbol of power carried by lictors in front of magistrates; a bundle of sticks featuring an axe, indicating the power over life and death
I really enjoyed this, but the whole thing was spectacularly bad luck on the dice for the Italians. Not to take away from the British/Indian win, but that should have been a lot closer
Your table is too sparse for FoW in 15mm... LONG time tournament player here from V1 - V3. FoW is a better game the more terrain is used. Try again with 3-4 times more terrain. On that table shooting would trump any tactics that one can use in the ruleset.
@@apropercuppa8612 dunes, escarpments, scruff, ridges, hills... all these LOS blockers should be used... this was nothing more than a "land-Naval" game without the ocean swells...
