Travis The Japanese Army tended to use a lot of Mortars as the war went on. This was due to a shortage of High quality steel as the war went on. In fact the Japanese small arms tended to get poorer quality. The Japanese uniform tended to be somewhat different in different locations such as Burma, China . Great paint job
Travis quite true about the prices of Japanese Vehicles Check out Brigade Games. The Japanese had a half track that is close to the German Sdkfz251. Not exactly the same but close. By the way your Mountain gun is a 70mm one. I will try your method on my Japanese as your stuff looks great.
Thingiverse, TigerAce, has tank pack and Artillery pack for Japanese. Very nice models if you have access to or a friend to print them for you. That would quickly and inexpensively complete any transport & AFV you want. I am just now starting my IJA Army.
Hey a brilliant Army. wonderfully painted too. I have a Banzai starter set too with a few extras in it. A few officers, how do you paint the white shirts :)
By the way I got a reply from Richard Clark regarding Chain of Command and Japanese with SMG. It will be taken care of according to him with a new Handbook for the Japanese latter this year,
