Thank you jeff!! Studyimg for my CDL and the trucking industry, so I cant get enough of this game. But my pc graphics card died on me so I cant play. A year from now, ill have keys to my own lease truck and be hauling loads coast to coast.
Almost to 1,000,000. So happy to see how much your channel has grown, Jeff. I've been here ever since 2 or 3k. Thanks for all you do for us. You're definitely in my top 5 fav gamers to watch.
Thanks for the like on my comment Jeff. Means a lot. This channel is my go to for general entertainment. Saving up for my very own JF t-shirt. Thanks again bud.
Nice reverse moves you made there on such a tight space! Enjoyed the video once again, and can't wait for all the upcoming events upon ya Jeff! Wishing the best!
To float gears better let off gas, move stick to N then let rpms drop 400 to 500 then move shifter into next gear ( for example let 5L go to 2000 rpm then let off gas put stick to N the let rpm drop to 1600 or 1500 then move gear to 6L)
From a RL trucker: You would have made it easier by driving round the block to put the store on your left, then all you have to do is reverse in an S shape, and by the time your cab is through the gate, you'd be at the correct angle to get on to the bay
Can't wait to see Texas, Houston especially with Beltway 8 and Interstate 610 which are loops around the city. That go over the Port of Houston with tall bridges.
We have a saying around here in Salina Kansas, "All roads lead to Salina." I-70, State Hwy 81 or I-135, and Old 40 Hwy. And a correction Jeff. McPherson-M-k-fur-sun.....lol.
I've been to Salina once back in 2013 from Missouri going through Wichita. It was a fun trip and US 400 is quite a desolate highway. And by the way, it's US 81, not State highway 81. Used to go through downtown Salina until I-135 was built. But yeah, a nice town.
@@thelegendkillersshittyduff1335 I laugh every time I see someone say this, though usually it's contained to the military, and it's usually only Americans who say it. This one made me laugh a little. Out of interest (or my ignorance), which jobs qualify for a 'thanks for your services'? I'll be an Architect soon, so I've got my hopes up...
my week is off to an "Amazing" start. last week (approx. Tuesday) my steering wheel broke (G29), so I contacted Logitech, and 1 week later, haven't heard a single thing.
@Angel Arellano my dad has a RU-vid channel its iamsmallfry should be a picture of a purple ish Volvo 780 he hashad yime to edit anything we haven't gotten a break yet
Are you meant to play this game with just a keyboard and a laptop screen? Cos I still feel like I'm having quite a bit of fun. But what are you using a virtual reality headset?
Love the ATS videos Jeff. Was wondering if in a future episode you could use a freightliner century class day cab with a Detroit motor and a 10 speed eaton fuller. My bosses recently sold one that i was learning little by little on to get my CDL. Really miss the truck and would love to see one in game if there is a mod available. Thanks in advance if you decide to use it. p.s. White is a good color for that model (its what ours was)
when you push your clutch in when you're floating gears give it a second and then wait for the RPM for attics gear then pull it back for the next year there's videos on RU-vid about how to float gears might be worth something checking out lol
Hi Jeff. For information only. I use as Bitrate, to record videos with OBS, 10,000, as resolution use 1080p and 60FPS. After editing the video, in the Bitrate parameters, I find myself, maximum 8000 and minimum 6000. I to make the video closer to the original, I put maximum 10,000 and minimum 9500. The result is a video very close to the original, like quality audio and video, but I do not know if it is wasted, given that when I upload it on RU-vid, quality is diminished during processing. Do you think the method I use to export videos is fine, or do I leave the bitrate at maximum 8000 and minimum 6000, how do you recommend the H.264 codec? Ah, obviously I export videos in MP4 1080p 60FPS. But it's only been a few days, because I didn't have the economic possibilities to buy both the new monitor and the 1050TI Expedition 4GB Thanks and congratulations for the channel.
How do you get those screen shots to look so realistic even more than the highest quality graphics you have when you took the picture cause it looks almost like you took it in real life with a real camera Jeff?
I'm using a Logitech joy stick, so I have to drive slower or I have trouble keeping the truck in my own lane. I should order a thrust master like Jeff has, then my truck would handle better. However with the joy stick, I can sit in my recliner and watch or listen to TV and play the game, I just have to keep my speed down. I'll give the joy stick credit because it has plenty of buttons and for $35.00 and I feel I really got my money's worth from it. However, I'll take suggestions if any body has them that's played the game. I've driven just about all the trucks that SCS offers, I have mexico and all the heavy haul packages. I buy all ATS's packages as they come out except wheels and steering wheels, as they do not enthuse me, their selection is great from from SCS as far as i'm concerned. I do well on the heavy hauls because of the slow speed. I really enjoy the escorted heavy haul and FYI the front police car or escort seems to like 34 miles per hour even on the interstate, so you can set your cruise control for that after you give yourself some distance, I find it make following the lead escort much more relaxed.. One time recently a bus was broken down (I surmise) and everything just sat still, I don't know what that was about, but I went around my escort and of course got penalized for that. After sitting 15 minutes I simply got bored waiting..... The other thing, I have to turn up the brightness of my PC when playing ATS... I've been playing it for about a year now and do around 3 trips every other day, I like short hauling, from one dot to the other and I've been pretty much staying in LA...... FYI Jeff, I have my trailer breaks set on zero via the key pad, I find it's nice for slowing down, and in conjunction with the breaks for stopping faster. Some one asked why even have trailer brakes, and I think above answer is why, plus applying the trailer brakes before the tractor brakes will keep you from Jackknifing at least in real life. I find the trailer brakes very useful. .............. I back in that store the same way, have done it a lot. Sometimes is very easy, other times got to do a lot of pull up's...A short nose truck helps a bit too like a Peterbilt 579 or the KW you were driving. Nice Video Jeff, thumbs up! You really have the handle on making interesting videos and I love to hear what you have to say during trips on ATS and during GTA5....................
DenGames do u know the heavy haul mod im looking to try that if u know what it is called and if it is in steam workshop let me know plz just got game looking for mods
@@cooper8704 The heavy haul is offered as soon as you start the game in the right hand corner. It is also available in Steam. It's cheap too, like $2 or $3 bucks. It works when you pick up freight but you don't use your own trailer, that is the second Icon down in the game. Both heavy haul and super heavy haul is available via SCS and they are down loaded via Steam.
You are shifting too high for floating shifts, I don't know how close to real life the game is doing that, but IRL, you need to shift under 1500 rpm. When you're in the first 4 gears, it's half a second (¼ of a second for low to hi) and when you're on the top 4 gears it's a whole second (½ a second for low/hi)
Do you think this will ever come to ps4 are xbox1 just wondering your opinion they made a Game called truck Driver for ps4 and xbox1 just ant come out yet
If you are heading to McPherson, Kansas from Salina, Kansas then you are heading do north not south on 135 I live in kansas if you was heading towards Wichita, Kansas then you would be heading towards Tulsa Oklahoma witch is south of Wichita on 135 there Jeff
Bout to get a wheel and a shifter for this game but do u have to double clutch or can u float gears cause in real life in the truck u float gears but double clutch is a pain when u can just float so can u float gears in the game or do u have to double clutch it
