I use a catch all shaker for the glitter I have used even with the tack it method...I use the glitter in other projects...

Adding water saves on the amount of tac it you use. That is the only reason to dilute.

So far all i get suggested is aleen tack it...but i'm not comfortable with 40 minutes drying with dirt blowing around my project....looking for speed, something faster?...or how fast can i top coat? Then i can get to the baby sitting the fast set resin top coat to keep dirt & dust out until it's tack free...even a cover. Businesses need to bust a move, ha.

This is how to reuse contaminated glitter. I let mine dry for a week. Then I run it thru a flour sifter. The handle when turned , turns the metal arm inside against the screen and breaks it up.

If it looks the same, I would rather dilute it so I use less glue.

Can I speed up the drying time with some heat source? Is it gonna affect the shinnyness?

What a positive and uplifting vibe you have! Silly question. I saw you applied tack it and then glitter and then rubbed it in. Then you applied a second coat of tack it. Dried it. Then it goes to where you sealed it. Was there a step in there where you glittered again? Or is there just one layer of the fine glittaful Adele and friends glitters between tack it layers? What is the benefit of having 2 layers? I’ve done it both ways and found that the second layer of glitter covers the sins of the first where the glue may not have adhered as well or I rubbed too hard and rubbed off the glue and glitter on base layer. Thanks!

This cup turned out beautiful! Question I rewatched and didn’t see if after you did the second coat of tack it did you reapply the glitter then rub it off again or did you just sealed it? Definitely going to try my first tack it method today.
