I grew up going to Blain's Farm and Fleet in Morton Illinois on Detroit avenue when they opened back in 1985. Farm & Fleet was cheap reasonable and employees were happy clean stores. Blain's Farm & Fleet shopping experiences never had a bad one in 35 years if going there. We used to hit the Farm & Fleet Big Kmart Venture and Children's Palace Toy Store until their(Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1992). I also worked for Farm & Fleet back in the 1990's great company to work for but the store manager was a big ass wipe at the time. He got his ass beat up several times outside of work by x employees that-he pissed off with his nastyness toward the employees and the customers. This ass wipe probably is a Wal-Mart store manger now. Blain's got rid of him two years later on a sexual harassment lawsuit for both male and female workers. this man was a real creep. Alot of the department managers when he was there would call off. when he got fired I could have went back but didn't because my old boss James Carver at AMOCO Oil hired me back more pay and more hours and same hours and days off every week.
