TACK UP AND RIDE WITH ME DURING LOCKDOWN 

Tack up and ride with me during lockdown!
I’m incredibly lucky that horse care is deemed essential, and my yard still lets us ride. We aren’t allowed in the tack rooms or any common spaces, meaning we have to take all our tack home with us and we have to wear gloves at all times and we have to distance too, there’s no hanging around allowed and there’s also a limit on how many people can use an arena. I’m very very thankful for the fact I can still ride.
Tina has been getting very tense and excitable lately, so the big goal is getting her to slow down and not to rush everything and to relax, she’s starting to get it but everything is still so exciting. She’s also a lot fitter and I think she’s starting to get a bit of spring fever too. I rode her in her jump saddle, rather than her dressage, and the biggest difference is probably that I sit better in my dressage saddle. I need to work on not tipping forward.
Yet again; I’m having all sorts of technical issues too so hopefully this time round things work and my audio isn’t messed up and playing at weird times!
I hope everyone else is managing okay, I’m struggling and stressed but we’re all here and in this together.
