Thanks for posting this video! I just bought a chainsaw, different brand name from the one you used, but looks exactly the same…had trouble with the assembly and looked on RU-vid for help and found your video. Great help. Thanks again.
Anything to get away from a pull start. I don't use them that often so I really hate trying to pull start, I always feel like I'm juggling. That is not a good feeling with a chainsaw. This is much better.
Do you know where to buy the replacement parts? Need the guide bar with tension adjustment but nowhere to find it. Emailed to manufacturer with no anwsers!
Thats why I'm afraid to buy one... Before I even make a purchase I check to see if i can find replacement parts and I've been searching the internet for 2 hours and can't find nothing...
After using it a few times, and it was working fine, a few months later it does absolutely nothing. There seems to be no reason at all that it doesn't work: Plugged in, LED light comes on showing that it's getting power. I wish I never bought it.
I'm sorry to hear that you've had a negative experience with the TACKLIFE Electric Chainsaw. It can be frustrating when a product stops working properly, especially if it had been functioning well before. Have you tried reaching out to TACKLIFE's customer service to see if they can assist you with troubleshooting or possibly replacing the product if it's still under warranty? They may have some suggestions that could help you get the chainsaw up and running again. It's also helpful to leave a review or comment sharing your experience, as it can help others make informed purchasing decisions. cnl
I also need tensioner assembly. It's still under warranty, but Amazon has kicked them off their platform. I cannot get any help from the company via email. Their website claims parts are from major manufacturers. Anyone think the tensioner from Oregon's 18" electric would work? Oregon CS1500 Tensioner Assembly # 570963
