Leavitt's a nice spot, we have a cabin right below Kennedy so go up there quite often. There are also a couple other lakes you can hike to from Leavitt.

JonDZ is in a Honda passport that’s lifted he’d be offended if he knew someone thought he was in a RAV4 😂

Nice video! Have a couple questions about camping. Do you need a reservation? Are there designated spots or you just camp anywhere? And do they have toilets? Thanks!

Thanks for viewing! To answer your questions...no reservations are needed. It's a first come first served. There's plenty of primitive camping spots to set up camp at along the lake and the Trail near the lake. As far as toilets go, unfortunately there aren't any so you'll have to bring your own honey bucket and a shovel.

Great video and some really impressive scenery. Your Trail Boss looks like it is handling your adventures with no issues.

Thanks! Ultimately I want to add a jeep to the garage (yeah I went there lol) so I can go places I can't get to in the truck.

Cool video. You think a 2wd Tacoma trd off road with locking rear differential can make it up there?

Yeah you would be fine.

A stock Acura mdx made it recently so a taco can easily navigate that terrain.

How was the heat?
@thetrailoutthere

Not hot at all. It actually got pretty cold and windy at night....very windy. Nighttime was around 50 ish degrees but windchill factor made it feel worse.

Great video! Quick question(s) why lowering the PSI? Cause going to high alt? Also, what size wheels spacers you got? thank you.
@thetrailoutthere
@thetrailoutthere Год назад
Thanks! I lowered the psi to have a comfortable ride and a little more traction. Although not necessary for this trail, I did have a lot of stuff in the bed of the truck that I didn't want to damage so lowering the psi made it less bumpy.

I have 1/8th inch spacers btw

@@thetrailoutthere Thank you, I want to install some OEM fenders to my BOSS then balance out tire offset without having them poke out too much.
