This is adorable! Im going to guess he has mealworms? Also I would like to point out that Taco Taco has little fur markings that make it look like he has eyebrows! It’s so cute!
When you filmed the Tiny Playground video, did you have multiple cameras at different angles, or just one w/ cuts & transitions through editing? I ask because the two hamsters went down the slide at the same time and then instantly another video clip showed them plop at the bottom of the slide together. I'm new to videography and just wanted to know how you filmed that. :)
It was a mix of everything. We had multiple cameras as well as a GoPro at the bottom of the slide looking up at the hamsters. It was also filmed over many nights since I didn't want them to get tired or thirsty from being out of the cage too long. I had many clips that I edited together. It was just a waiting game to let them play and wait for them to be super cute.
I found a movie called horrors and hamsters, it said it was directed by you and some dude named Randy Smith. Most of the movie was your videos of hamsters. The rest was not really appropriate, but that's besides the point. I was just wondering if you really did direct this movie.
So I see a lot of comments saying mealworms. I didn’t know that hamsters could eat those and I’ve been having trouble with my hamster eating lately. I’ve tried different kinds of food as well, but he just keeps stuffing it all in his cheeks and then “hiding” them in a corner. Could mealworms be a substitute for food? Or are they just a snack/treat? And if they can be used as food, is there a certain kind to buy? Because I had a bearded dragon who just lately died ☹️ and I think I still have mealworms from him. I’d be really thankful if someone who knows could respond, thanks!
Sadly Taco Taco has passed away. She had a very aggressive cancer and did not live over 1.5 years. I now have Soda Pop who is 1y 9m old and a boy named Rocket who is 5.5 months old. Also I have a hedgehog who is a few months old.
Call me stupid, but I used to live in a lovely bubble where I thought (or hoped) that a packet of mealworms we once got for the birds in the garden were some kind of manufactured food (yet I did fear it was possibly really a worm, bit like the whole pig's ear thing or chicken feet - please don't burst my bubble!!!). I am grossed out by them & will never be feeding them to anything again. The idea of a live variety makes me feel ill. aHHHHHHHH
