Good solid promotional review. But my chief complaint is the RU-vid video manually selected at 1080p does not do the Tactacam footage justice. The Tactacam footage sporadically goes from clear to fuzzy to clear as if the RU-vid video was pre-encoded improperly.
So what resolution is the 8X at ? As the manual for the 4.0 said: True Full HD 2.7k @30fps 5x zoom optimized for distance. The manual was incorrect as per your customer service department - THE 5X is not at the HD 2.7K ONLY at 1080P.
Looks like a cool product, great job on the review. One question though, Does the remote control work with other Tactacam models? For example, if I have a 4.0 behind and I have a 5.0 on my bow will the remote turn on both cameras? Thanks!
I believe it only works with the 5.0, 6.0 and the solo xtreme. It also works with their fish one. But yes, you can connect up to 5 compatible cameras and they will all turn on at the same time when you push the button on the remote.
Nice product but still with a bow shot its very blurry from vibration I want to see my arrow hit target clear and that is why i have a non bow mounted camera.
Had a guest on to explain the product and you barely let the man talk lol. Next time just save their time and discuss it by yourself. Good video though guys!
@@BackyardRambo that’s the tactacam solo. I bought it and it was crap. Broken right out of the box from amazon. Now I bought the tactacam 5.0 ($300 model). So far so good. So always buy Premium.
@@smallmunster There is no such thing as "digital zoom". When I was young we used to goto a drive-in theater that had a 100 foot wide screen. Marketing types today would say that establishment had 100X digital zoom. .... "pay no no attention granularity"
@@Bonjour-World Directly from Tactacam customer service: Oct 6, 2020, 5:44 PM CDT The Zoom is Digital. The native magnification of the lens is 3x, which allows the camera to have a very similar look to what your eye sees.
