Watch how to disassemble and reassemble Tactic Racing TR01 rear hub, including bearing sizes, freehub change, and measurement. Bearings: Freehub: 2x 6803 Hubshell: 1x 17287, 1x 6803
I have a question about adding the precise thickness of shims before the last step of mounting the end cap. Wouldn't the thickness of those shims already be predetermined in your design, meaning I wouldn't need to measure anything because you already have determined what thickness is needed and supplied that to the customer in your freehub kit? Did I miss something there?
There are very slight tolerancing differences between end caps, bearings, the hubshell itself, and the internal spacer. The shims accommodate for those tolerances.
@@TacticRacing_Hubs Do you supply various thicknesses of shims to enable a perfect set up? In all honesty this is incredibly finicky! I had a client today who sent me this video and has decided NOT to go with your hubs because of this issue. It scared him away.

Does anybody know what size is the o-ring that sits on the endcap ?
Are these hubs the last Generation ? Is the freehub spacer made of plastic ? Why different springs for each FH body and why is the mech made of aluminium with tungsten coating instead of Titanium ? Wouldn’t be there significantly wear of the teeth ? I ask myself if the coating layer is thick enough ? Wouldn’t low to middle viscosity oil work better than Teflon lube ? Nice hubs ! Thank you in advance.
I got this hubs 2 weeks ago,I've done some tests on the rear hub and i can honestly say that the quality of this thing is way better then swiss 180.The rachet is far better then swiss products. The only thing that i don't like about this company is that u have to wait a very long time to get this hubs delivered at your door. P.S the spacer is made out of plastic to keep the weight down.
What steps do you recommend if the drive side end cap doesn't punch off? My end cap tool is clamped down solid, but the non-drive side end cap came off and the entire axle punched out of the hub shell. I'm afraid to put the axle and the stuck drive side end cap into a vise. Open to any recommendations.
