Tactical Consideration: Forcing the Front Door Must be Thought of as Ventilation 

Forcing the front door needs to be considered in the same way as any other form of horizontal ventilation. When a door is open for firefighter entry, it is also open for air to pass through and can create a new flow path for the fire. Coordination of forcing the door and suppression is key.
