I just have to stop watching you guys…sadly. At such young ages, you have become so jaded. Especially Patrick and Ewan. You just seem bent on taking all the excitement, appreciation and joy out of watching a generational talent. So why listen?

I agree with the other comments here - this Giro really isn't that bad of a grand tour and y'all are very negative. Sure, it would be great if every race had an epic battle for first on GC and I think we've been spoiled on that front with the last two TdF's, but if you've been watching cycling longer than that you know that that's not the norm (and many races were far worse than this during most of the Sky era) I think you have to look beyond the time gap from 1st to 2nd and actually watch how it's being raced. There's been a bunch of great individual stage wins like Narvaez's or Alaphilipes, and even though Pogi is dominant he's racing in an exciting way (e.g. hoping on an attack with 3km to go on a sprint stage in stg 3). Would 1000% take this over any of Chris Froome's GC victories, and even would say it's a much better Giro than last year because that was just stalemate racing until the last TT. Lastly, I actually think the sprint side of things isn't as bad as your saying - I mean if it's just the Milan show, then how come Merlier and Kooij have each won one?

This Giro has been way better than last year’s close GC battle. It feels like these videos have been more concerned with hot takes and being contrarian rather than having a well reasoned review.

I cant be the only person that isnt a Pog or even UAE fan surely ? The only exicting part of the GC is who comes 2-10th.

Thank you for doing this, gents. I'm sure Poggi is curious what he has to do to be your rider of the week.

The thrill of professional cycling lies in the fact that you don’t have to pay to watch it live!!! And I really do appreciate the hard life of a professional cyclist in perfecting their craft. I admire Pogi and his team for showing us a generational talent. Pogi in Filipino mean HANDSOME and it is really TRUE!😊

allaphillipe lost a sprint in week one to newcomer that was riveting. Resurgance of allaphillipe has been incredible attacking from 135 k I think bit of recency bias and lack of Jumbo visma blues for you guys. No rimoz or remco but never was going to be UAE are just so strong they are just ridin tempo to get tadej through whole giro at a tempo ideal to him but too much for est so its unique in that respect. If pogi wasnt here to do double which caused him to put rae away early it wouldnt feel like that but ive been watching cycling woth OCD since 89 appreciate what youfre watching even days of Fignon , hinault, lemond didnt see this. Fignon dominated his first tour but on long TT's not in every style tadej lead out a sprint in maglia rosa. Everyon is so spoiled with tadejs genius its like people getting bored of messi and Barca. Tadej has finished 2nd 3 times he could have won 10 stages this giro. Hes 25 and finally taking diet and rest and training seriously where as he used to just ride with girlfriend and rely on overwhelming talent. Hes reaching his prime that all athletes see between 28-32 where athletes have their fast twitch muscles but enouh years to develop the lean frame and slow twitch endurance alon with riding cerebrally fro eperience and using team and not wasting energy. This UAE has been in development for two years with bjerg and vegard as engines. They recover stage to stage so well and at tour he will have a gc level climbing dom in Joao who besides climb is naturally able to ride tempo by style. Yates who rides more staccato and engines like mcnulty, pollitt, bkerg and vegard im sure will make themselves abailable although maybe njerg focuses on olympics as he stated. Sivakov is that groshartner like mountain dom and has one day pedifree ot help in hilly stages or eve crosswinds tadej is sitting pretty for double. Hes been best since 19 for his age head and shoulders. Hes truly entering a realm where numbers wont be eddy like 525 but considering how modernized sport and given his volume of wins and more so win rate. I think it will be him merckx, and Coppi when hes done. Jonas does great in climb heavy stage races but a technical course where he will have to eat wind even with teamates and power out of every corner hes simply not built for. Tow win multiple tours and not ever even win the danish national champs is really unique case. Skjelmose has won and featured at last years worlds for mads. I just cant compare Tadej to jonas like comparing Messi who wins eerything and in unique once lifetime style and modric because hes won a champions league as best player. Poll peloton VDP, Wout, Julian, mads, tadej beats so many greats on their favored parcours its different level. If they can et ayuso on board for team and through it compete with remco for white as remco will likely struggle hes no mountain goat. UAE have all the cards Jumbo dominated last year but sport evolves every year and UAE have the depth and experience and form thuis year they are by far most winning team.

Pogi is putting a show of how good he is! Please don’t spoil this. We should be grateful that we have athletes who can do their craft flawlessly and put some thrill to our dull lives.

Agree with you guys, this has not been an exciting Giro much as the commentators try to convince us that it's exciting to watch this "generational talent". It feels more like an exhibition rather than a race. IMHO this is not good for the sport.
