I realized I haven't uploaded this vlog from last year because I suddenly became occupied with work and life. Only remembered it now... but I guess better late than never!
I was seated right at the center, row 3! I had such a good overall experience. Good view of Taecyeon during the soundcheck and the actual show, won a signed poster through lottery, won a group photo opportunity and the hi-bye session.
1. Soundcheck and Show:
He is 2PM's rapper but his vocals are sooo on point! My favorite was when he sang 'Forevermore', a local song in English. I know he can sing. I love his part when he sings the opening line for "At Times" by 2PM but I did not expect him to be THIS good. Secondly, he was very chatty and VERY FUNNY! I was laughing from start to end! Maybe because he is comfortable with English unlike other artists that he was able to communicate and express his cute antics and humor with the fans.
2. Hi-Bye Session:
As usual, the ushers were rushing everyone out of the venue in preparation for the group photo. Everyone must leave before they can bring Taec up the stage where the group photo op will be held. As most were rushed out, they barely had two seconds to really have eye contact or speak with Taec.
I figured I'll never have this opportunity again so whatever... I stood there in front of him. Did the cheek heart with my right hand and he reciprocated with his cheek heart with both hands.
You will know Taec is a genuine and kind hearted artist. He looked at everyone in the eye and did all sorts of movements. I remember a girl before me 'dabbed' at him and he did the same. It was hilarious!
2. Group Photo:
When we were lining up, I did not know any strategy as this is my first group photo with any artist after my 2PM one in 2013! LOL! Thankfully, the stars aligned and my position eventually gave me the opportunity to be BESIDE THE MAN HIMSELF. I remember being starstucked with his SUUUPER STRUCTURED AND DEFINED FACE. His visuals were blinding. He was so tall too!
Everything happened so fast. Just one click then the ushers will force you to leave. During the photo session, I was just standing there FROZEN because "omg taec is right beside me" and he initiated the hand heart! AAAHHHH!! The tips of our fingers touched and I felt myself shaking so bad HAHAHA! For sure he felt it too! Then, I took my time to say "Thank you" to him and then bowed. I think I did it twice or thrice.
(I am eternally thankful to him because he was the one I noticed first in 2PM that eventually made me look into the group further. He was working hard on variety shows after variety shows and I loved him! Afterwhich, I'm deep down the 2PM rabbit hole. The songs, variety shows, dramas & members became my entertainment during my teenage years)
I hope more members come to Manila. Will always be waiting and supporting my six~
