Honestly I absolutely love BTS, they’re amazing and talented and spread amazing messages and I have no doubt that they help so many people to heal themselves. But something that I really do not like is the way the girl is portrayed in a lot of these imagines of fanfics. I’m in no way shape or form being disrespectful to whoever wrote this, it has so much effort and talent and it must take long to make - so thanks for that! I just want to generally talk about how the girl is portrayed as the figure who, a lot of the times, runs back to the boy to make things better again. It’s absolutely annoying how the boy figure hits y/n and she just cries and leaves without even standing up for herself. I do not expect her to hit back, just for her to stand up for herself and then leave. It made me so sad when he told her he didn’t love her anymore and she was begging him, it made me sad because so many young girls and boys go through this. I am being completely respectful to whoever wrote this, again your effort is being recognised and I also know that this was made for entertainment purposes and I totally respect that. I just think that maybe as an amazing community (am I right or am I right ARMY 😉), together we can create a strong role model for all the young fans who love to watch these videos!
