@@onlydbrasko Exactly. That is a foolish thing to say that all famous people think they are untouchable as it implies every famous person is potenially a criminal. With this idol, he is being charged with a serious offense. As far as it being against a minor though that is not clear yet because at first it was being said he committed an SA against a same sex minor then it was changed to an adult female. Hopefully the victim will get justice.
@@DheethroneWell after that did YOU not hear that she said " The police clarified that the person was Woman of legal age" !! It means the person was of opposite gender and was not a minor. Maybe YOU might want to watch it again and properly listen this time!!
I am so mine boggled. We have spent the last month dealing with the "BS" Suga scooter/kick board incident, watched Seunghan of Riize ripped from his fans and members to be put on hiatus over pictures, and yet this sexual incident has been going on since June and no one reported on it! He even got to perform at the fan meeting while the investigation was going on! SM clearly knows how to push things under the rug. Even the Japan Johnny and Haechan incident blew away like the wind. All this while the media roasted Sugar over his scooter/kick board saga (which was blown up out of proportion.) South Korea Media and SM both have a lot of groveling to do as this is totally inexcusable!
ITS JEALOUSY! THEY USE SUGA TO COVER UP MORE SCANDALOUS THEY USE THIS OPPURTUNITY ! AND TAKE NOTE DO YOU THINK MEDIA WILL MAKE ANY FUSS OF IT IF NO $$$$$ INVOLVE??
Just the fact that SM kicked him out immediately shows this is serious. If it is not serious, SM wouldn't do that. If you see what happened to Lucas, SM is still supporting him until now. and I've been a fan of kpop since bigbang debut, and this is the first time I see SM kicked someone out this freaking fast. This is serious
I'm familiar with NCT but I'm not part of their fan group. But I do think that judgement should be put on hold until the case has been investigated and all the facts have been presented. I say this because Korean Media has a long history of spreading rumors, with no evidence, destroying careers, only to find out 5 months later that the celebrity was innocent. If he's guilty, he'll have to face the consequences, but until then people should wait to pass judgement.
This. We didn't know him before and we don't know him now. It seems that we never learn. Jumping on the bandwagon only to be found looking stupid six months later when the person is found innocent. 😒😒
@@trelaw1527 that's also possible, that's why I said I hope justice will prevail for the victim.... Which implies if Taeil Is innocent and the accusations are false, he would be the victim.
Taeil being the main vocalist is a big subtraction from the group but i believe in 127! They still have killer vocalists like doyoung, haechan, Yuta ,Jaehyun and Jungwoo. Maybe it will even give some of the underrated vocalists to shine since they would have more lines.
@@gargikadam1199 of course that’s not the priority right now I agree. I didn’t intend to make it seem like I’m paying more emphasis on him leaving the group rather than his crimes. Sorry for the misunderstandings 😭
That's why I never get personally attached to any idols anymore. It's okay if you support them for their work. You love the persona they created on the internet. But in reality, you truly don't know them. I learned my lesson from the Seungri scandal. Taeil is just another example.
Woww and instead of such serious crimes that are taking place kmedia is more focused on bringing down suga for a kickboard fall which has not caused any kind of harm to anybody but for which he has apologized 3 times. SM surely knows to keep it under covers and still keeping this man of stage
Suga being bullied for falling from a bike that children play with and here these people commiting actually crimes yet not getting full or any attention. As a Korean, this makes no sense
Suga was irresponsible but it was completely blown out of proportion, the attention that was put on him needs to be redirected towards taeil. This is infinitely worse!

It's because BTS and it's fans can't be controlled. The kmedia is doing what is trying to do....because they think they can discipline/curve bts influence. Also, the current administration is the opposing party from Moon Jae In. BTS influence is very strong. I will not be surprised if the government itself is in cahoots with k-ent/media/police to destroy bts.

I am still in shock. The first report came straight from SM. No hiatus, no letting the media speak first. Stright kicked out. What did he do for SM to drop him so fast?
I’m an international Army so I understand your frustration and anger, but do you want to put yourself in the same category as the media by saying these things? I empathize with the fans of him who NEVER attacked Suga... but the $h!t that Suga and Armys had to go through from a bunch of SM fanatics participating in "Drunk Suga challenge" and pretending to be army are just another level. To all SM fans who criticized Suga, Here is a taste of your own medicine and worst because the idol are actually in real serious case this time.
Tf you’re apologising for. Grow some. Balls and a backbone! People are rightfully commenting on this crime and pointing out media hypocrisy. Mentioning “I’m an army while licking nct won’t make you one”. Also it’s a s£x crime! You want ppl to shut up? When the victim had been ab£sed for 6 years and was 12 year old! Also don’t you dare compare this situation with suga! His company kicked him out before the news even came out. And that’s SM who never does that. Says a lot about the intensity of his crime
Tell that to the fans who participated in the drunk challenge. My sincere condolences to the victim not to anyone else. Sm allowed such a person to have contact with fans even after they discovered taeil guilt while the fans were kekeing about suga.
So...let me get this straight. For almost a month we've been putting out media fires that caused absolute outrage on BTS Suga falling off his electric scooter in front of his house. Yet this s*xual assault case has been kept under raps for a whole 2 months?!!! Am I getting it right? Even now, the level of exposure this story is getting is child's play compared to the outrage that Kmedia created on Suga.
I don't know why I have this uncomfortable feeling that some messy stuff is happening in the K-pop industry ... since the beginning of this year, there have been too many scandals that are facing up , too many set-up scandal traps or scandal attempts... This year is really an unsettling/strange/too many drama year ...
By whom? What investigation took place, by whom, and where is the report? Lucas got punished BEFORE the facts were out, and now he's slide back in like a snake to SM Entertainment. I think this might just finish them off. SM Entertainment is SO over. In five years time they will lose all their trainees. Stay tuned.
Lucas wasn’t proven innocent. Sm just believes if they let the situation die down enough his international fans would support him since they were the loudest ones turning a blind eye to everything. They guessed wrong tho as his comeback flopped
@@LP-ct9nknot true…I think you’re forgetting how disgusting Korean fans reacted to the sun scandal. How they still supported the idols and shit on the women who reported and experienced the assaults. Koreas justice system is fucked when it comes to sex crime allegations. If anything so many international fans are shitting and holding idols accountable as far as I’ve seen.
Can Lucas' case be compared to Taeil's? I mean... Correct me if I am wrong, wasn't Lucas' case bordering more on lack of moral integrity? He played some fan and financially and emotionally took advantage of them? But with Taeil, this is a criminal accusation of a sexual nature. So unless i missed something, these are two different scenarios.
This disgusting incident happened months ago and was kept hush hush but Suga from BTS is immediately ripped apart and hurt NOBODY. The Korean media should feel so embarrassed. No honor.
Well all I can say is this is serious and now the members and his closest friends unfollowed him and now this is a serious case and this is some serious charges and now there is consequences to his actions

I am a fan of k-pop since 2011 and i always think until today, it's the wrong way to call them "Idols", an Idol is someone with a high reputation, a special highly valued talent or a high knowledge, or maybe someone, who did something good on a humanity basis, someone to look up to and try to grow, these so called Idols are Artists, nothing more or less, simple Artists. Yes, Artists with much talents in many cases, but i never wanted to call them Idols. And besides that, they are humans....and certainly humans who are maybe broken in some ways through handling of the companys, the restrictions, the dating bans and many more things, many haven't seen their familys in years and the education of some is very bad. If the hard point only lay in developing the talents like singing, dancing and co...sometimes life lectures stay on a low level. I don't want to defend them, nor judge, because the thruth isn't public. I can only say, don't idolized them, everyone of them has their role, given by their company, and nobody knows the real face of these Artists....I hope the women involved will be ok and heal, whatever is happen between them...after all, it's a very sad case, again....
I became a fan of K-pop during the pandemic, and as a fan, that's also a Christian, I never really like the word idol & I don't like to call any artist in Kpop that. It has a really not gonna meaning to it, but yes, I agree, these people are artists and human. They are flawed, and that is something that I think fans keep forgetting that they will let us down. Especially in cases like this, if they are involved in some serious crimes. We don't know them 100%, only God does. No matter how much facts there are about them on the internet.
This show you that sm has the media under their belt. Why is the media not asking for him to stand infront of the police station & say “sorry”???? Double standard media in Korea?😂????that women is brave enough to come forward
This is why you shouldn't idolize celebrities, period! You don't know who they are in real life. People make mistakes all the time. I don't care how popular they are, wrong is still wrong and there is no excuse for that.
After watching the Burning Sun documentary, nothing surprises me anymore. The documentary clearly proved that Kpop stars raped women; Korean police protected these Kpop stars; their fanbase threatened those who exposed these Kpop rapists and defended them. More importantly the documentary stated that abuse and rape by kpop idols is still happening. If victims started talking, if fans stopped blindly following and defending kpop idols, if police starts protecting the victims then the whole Kpop industry will come crumbling down. If...........
WHY isnt there any reports spreading fales information, and harassimg him the way that the media did to Suga?😡😡😡. MUCH MORE SERIOUS CRIME then riding a small scooter slighly intoxicated on the sidewalk late at night .🙄
YG only have seungri for s*x crime, also seungri didn't do it, his mistake was to just let it happen in his club and not stopping his awful friend. While SM has kris, onew, lucas and now taeil.
I cannot even imagine the mental torture the victim went thru all these years seeing everyone loving him praising him and adoring him while she was being SEXUAL ASAULTED by him...its heartbreaking...he's a monster! i hope she heals
With everything recently going on with the media, its best to not jump to conclusions with only pieces of information. What you know is not the same as what the police know, and the media has proven to be unreliable. If there is a victim they want justice and they should get it after a proper investigation has been made. If there was no victim then someone's life will be ruined due to rumors. With this situation and any others that may come later, don't be so quick to make your judgments just because you watched a video.
Honestly, I take anything SK media reports with a grain of salt especially after the way they ruthlessly dragged Suga and fabricated cctv footage over a freakin scooter. I'll wait for an official report from the Police. However, if this is accurate, I am sorry to the victim and family. May you heal and recover from the ordeal you had to go through.
The cases that the kmedia doesn't drag the idols in are most likely the true cases. They are not really dragging taeil as bad as they dragged suga so i believe this one is true. He really did something bad. That's why they are not speaking on it
I don't feel bad at all I will stay neutral until it's official announced but I'm literally shock and felt betrayed 😭💚 thank you for making a somehow sweet comment
Not needed, but thank you for your kindness :-) I hope the truth will turn out, if he committed a crime, he should go in prison, if he did not commit a crime, he should be taken back to NCT, but meanwhile NCT members will also suffer.
Sm gonna burden it on their artist again They never tried to support their artist first before clarifying the situation bet teil apology letter will come first before actual facts from police investigation
Kmedia made a fuss just because "someone" fall from electric scooter. And this happened like month ago, they decided to remain hush. Good media culture.
Here we are again where the Korean media and public trash a person's life due to unproven accusations. Just because someone says something doesn't mean it's true!!! Wake up, people!! The burden of proof is on the accuser. The accused should not be assumed to be guilty.
@@not_in_the_mood I disagree. But, I've read accounts of men charged & found guilty, then have the accuser recant their testimony. We don't need to agree.
SM did not release statements about the situation before the public was even aware. There were already incorrect rumors about the arrest circling online saying that he assaulted an underage boy. SM just didn't take forever like usual.
Hmm the chickens are coming home to roost. See how already the selective outrage is happening. Very much unlike Suga's case. I'll wait and see how this plays out. Now THIS is a major *SCANDAL* Knetz.
Taeil is known for being a calm member. He rarely gets chaotic so this is just shocking.. He’s the least member I expect to do such thing. And as an NCT fan, this is so disappointing..you’ll really never know how do idols act behind the camera. Hoping that the victim will get the justice she deserves.

The police have been discreet about Taeil considering they practically screamed about Sugu’s incident. I don’t get why the two idols are being treated so differently. Which makes what the police and media did to Yoongi even more disgusting. Corrupt police everywhere!

While it's crucial to uphold the principle of innocence until proven guilty, a cornerstone of criminal law, the entertainment industry often demands swift action to protect the company's reputation and the well-being of all involved. In the case of serious allegations like s3*u*l crimes, companies have a responsibility to prioritize the safety of the alleged victim and the trust of their fans. While waiting for the legal process to conclude can be challenging, taking proactive steps such as suspending or removing the accused artist can help mitigate potential damage and demonstrate the company's commitment to ethical conduct. As I mentioned, the legal process can be lengthy. A case like this can take at least a year to resolve, which can be detrimental to a team's morale and a company's reputation. We can see this in the Seungri case, where it took over a year for him to be found guilty. If YG Entertainment had not taken immediate action, their reputation would have suffered significantly. The public would have questioned their judgment and accused them of protecting a s3*u*l offender, even though he was presumed innocent under the law. The same can be said for the Garam case. HYBE's aggressive defense of Garam, while rooted in the belief of her innocence, ultimately led to a negative public perception. Even after her departure, questions about her involvement in the b**ly*ng allegations remain unanswered, leaving the situation in a gray area. As someone who has worked as a lawyer for a company, I understand the importance of protecting alleged victims. In such cases, swift action, while respecting due process, can help to maintain public trust and prevent further harm. One of the most terrifying aspects for victims of s3*u*l assault is the fear that others may not believe their stories. This belief often stems from the legal principle of 'innocent until proven guilty,' which can lead to a societal mindset where victims are frequently judged as liars. If you attend events focused on supporting survivors of s3*u*l assault, you'll likely encounter this common fear expressed by many victims. It's crucial to remember that regardless of the truth, prioritizing belief in victims is essential. This doesn't mean disregarding the legal standard of proof, but it does mean creating a supportive environment where victims feel heard, believed, and validated
I don't know this guy, but I believe in innocent until proven guilty. It seems like it's the opposite in Korea. The public already made him look guilty before the trial. This proves SM owns the trashy journalists since it has been covered up so well with no leak.
He is guilty, that’s for sure.BUT his crimes aren’t disclosed to the public yet,we don’t exactly know what he did.The rumors saying he has been following a a girl for 6 years is only made up by people on the internet.Only SM and the police knows what actually happened, but for now everyone should just stay neutral.
@@mishuramim2006guilty of what - only a court of law can determine that - and so far none has spoken - people are so quick to spread rumors why not wait for the final judgment ???? These are actual people both the accused and victim deserve due process.
