Back than people ship Taemin Krystal and Minho Krystal so hard, But at the end of the day Kai Krystal dating. After they break up, they become awkward each other, because Taemin is Krystal and Kai friend and he is in the middle of the situation 😌
true...it helps though that Taemin, Kai, Krystal and Seulgi were literally best friends as trainees and their early years at SM. so they were actually good friends irl and were comfortable with each other on stage. now idols are awkward af around each other (talking about male/female interactions), one because of not wanting to start rumors and secondly they aren't as close as idols in the 2nd/3rd generation who grew up together.

and today, Krystal left SM... I'm sad but happy. I'm sad because I miss the old memories of them, but happy for Krystal's future. Wherever you are, whatever you wanna be, I'll always support you guys. Sorry, I just really miss the old SM moments.

Apparently Krystal left SM once her contract had expired in order to pursue her solo career. It’s so unfortunate too, because pretty much everyone in F(x) left SM because they’re a shitty company who can’t promote artists correctly.

f(shinee) is the only thing that matters. They were so close. That's what we really missing now a days in K-pop. Actually in SM too.. They are awkward with each other. Suju, Snsd, SHINee and f(x) are on another level when it comes to their interactions. I really miss those times
exactly. When I was watching SMTOWN til 2015, I felt their closeness, how big family SMTOWN actually is. But now whenever I see Hope on recent SMTOWNs I can't unsee how awkward it seems to be...
Also Krystal was seen at Taemin's concert in Japan year or 2 years ago. SHINee were singing f(x)'s song in one program. They're still friends, I'm sure of it.

Taemin and Krystal go way back since they were trainees. SM wanted to scout Krystal since she was very young but her parents dissaproved and let SM recruit older sister Jessica instead and asked them to wait until Krystal was old enough. When Krystal wasn't a trainee yet, she would come to SM with Jessica(who was already a trainee at the time), just to hang out during summer breaks where she also made some new friends with the SM trainee kids which include Taemin. Rumor has it that Taemin would be excited and always look forward to meeting Krystal to play with during every summer. Jessica was so overprotective of Krystal, which made Taemin felt intimidated by her. Fast forward to when Krystal was already old enough to be a trainee and debuted as an idol with f(x), Krystal and Taemin became good friends like you see in this video. Taemin never seemed this close and comfortable with other girls except Krystal. Krystal was also close to other SHINee members like Jonghyun, Key and Minho. One thing that's not included in this video is in SHINee's variety show Hello Baby, they were planning to invite a female guest as a "one day mom" to the kid they were taking care of. SHINee members asked Taemin whom he wanted to invite, and he answered "Krystal". This answer made other SHINee members felt dissapointed as they think his answer was boring because all of them were already close with Krystal and stated that they can always meet her at SM since they're in the same company. So other SHINee members except Taemin named their ideal girl/female celebs (not from SM) that they would want to invite. Back then the popular hetero Taemin ships were with Sulli, as well as Naeun because of WGM (he was "rumored" to be dating these girls back then), but somehow the girl he's most comfortable interacting with in front of fans and in fancams was Krystal. Several years after, Krystal was dating Kai. I don't think Taemin was interested in Krystal in that way and nor was he jealous because he's still bffs with Kai until now. A few years before Kai and Krystal were confirmed dating, I remember seeing Taemin teasing Krystal about Kai in one of his old fancams which showed that Kai and Krystal were probably already a thing or interested in each other back then and Taemin was their mutual friend making fun of these lovebirds. However, when Krystal and Kai broke up, that's when things turned differently and since then there's like 0 interaction between Taemin and Krystal anymore unfortunately. Obviously Taemin being Kai's bff, he's on Kai's side and probably felt discouraged to keep in touch with Krystal. So it seems like they grew distant as years passed. The whole Jessica gate and Jessica vs SM/SNSD thing also made things worse as well for everyone who were well acquainted with them. Taemin doesn't seem like he'd choose sides as he's not close with any 0T8 SNSD members nor Jessica (although he's on friendly and respectful hoobae sunbae terms with all the SNSD girls), meanwhile other SHINee members like Key and Minho became closer to SNSD members especially Taeyeon. Krystal eventually left SM after her contract expired and became a full-time actress now. Unfortunately I don't think she kept in touch with anyone from SM except f(x) members.
I agree. People think that when people dont interact anymore, it means their is indeed hatred. Not true. I really doubt their is a hatred among Taemin and Krystal or Krystal and SNSD Members. But out of respect for the parties involved, its best to not interact. Case in point. I had a Cousin who was dating this Girl. I was very close with her Cousin, I really liked her. But we stopped interacting after my Cousin had a nasty breakup with her Cousin. I dont hate them at all, but out of respect for my Cousin, we stopped interacting since, but I wish them well. Human and Societal behavior can be so odd sometimes.
This is so nostalgic. I can remember around 6-8 years ago when I kept watching moments between idols specifically f(x) with other artists. How I miss the old days :((
I forgot that things used to be like this... I miss male and female idols being able to interact without everyone going mad about it and assuming they're dating. If they are or if they aren't, so what? Guys and girls can be friends too.
“When it was normal” it was was never normal for idols to interact with each other. SM, JYP, and YG were the only ones who were exempt from this rule but then even YG got strict. SM and JYP still highly encourage good relationships amongst its artist to continue their family image and promote collaborations! Nothings change these moments still happen just with different artist in the company since fx doesn’t exist it’s red velvet now
No even tho they encourage good relationships, the way the fans will react now is different. The smtown now is never the same as it used to be. The fact is that the atmosphere changed a lot, even with sm artists. F(x) and SHINee were particularly close becos they have a lot of collaboration stage together and attended same variety show or programs. The f(SHINee) thing makes the fans just somehow ships them with each other and not being salty.
@@cakegirl5052 the fans always talked shit. AGAIN there are just some artist that don’t care. SHINee has a beautiful relationship with Red Velvet too. They just don’t care and it depends on who. Bambam and Lisa are widely known as best friends but also often get shipped together however for the most part both fandoms highly support their collaborations. It has always been conditional
i DEFINITELY don't ship them, but they have been in the industry fo so long, i hope they find someone who's gonna take care of them like how taemin & krystal take care of each other

Actually it was the other way around, the mbc gayo video.. the one their aired on TV was the prerecorded one,, and the one taemin carrying krystal bridal style was the live stage (you could see minho and sulli was not there bcs they attended sbs drama awards that night)
New groups may come and go, but for sure Taemin and Krystal will forever be Maknaes of SM they are the most loved.. And guess what another reason to love SHINee they are the most comfortable around females, and I am lucky to be part of such a fandom, that does not make a fuss about it...
Male and female friendship can become awkward after they find their own girlfriend and boyfriend. It was just a show but Taemin soon got closed to Naeun because of WGM, and then Krystal started to date Kai who is Taemin’s best friend and broke up.

Eventho they are maknaes they were quite old when they debuted plus there aren't many interactions of them together other than those times when they were forced to work together 😂 So I would not call them sm babies or sm's maknae duo More like sm's unofficial couple as kyu once said
SM GROUPS FRIENDSHIPS ARE SO PRECIOUS SUPER JUNIOR & GIRLS GENERATION SHINEE & F(X) EXO & RED VELVET NCT are also close with RV. But I hope to see more interactions between aespa and nct and also want their friendship to be like the old days.
