Lee Seung Chul is the original singer of "Girls Generation" song by SNSD. You might want to check it out. Its a rock song. There is a stage where snsd dance to his concert or show. Its just so old and the video quality is not that good 😊
In 3:13, it's upside down so it's hard to read but I think it's "이승철" (Lee Seung Chul) which makes a lot of sense. Also, "My Love" was originally released way back in 2013 and it was a hit. So you were right with it being "timeless". He wanted to collaborate with Taeyeon for the 35th anniversary of his career that's why they recorded this song together. (I mean... ofc, a legend would want to collab with a legend) :)

I had My Love on the top of my playlist for a whole month, it's just so good idk why it's underappreciated among the fandom. Fun fact thou this is a remake duet ver, the original song is an ost of Lee Seung Chul. And also he is the original artist of Girls' Generation(the song), so it's quite interesting how Taeyeon has come into full circle, from releasing a remake of her senior to being featured on a duet with him. Taeyeon has done a few "collabs". She featured in Verbal Jint's song called 'If the World was a Perfect Place' in return for his feature on 'I' lol, it's a really good song and Verbal Jint is an amazing artist too. He also kinda featured Paul Kim's songs called Try but she only lent her voice in the chorus. Paul Kim is a must-check artist. He's amazing. He was also on Begin Again 3 with Taeyeon. Oh also the most important one!!! Taeyeon and Sunny had an ost together called This Must Be Love, you're gonna want to include this on your Sunny ost video. This is one of my fave osts from soshi tbh but a lot of sones don't know about this song. They sang it live on a radio show once so heads up for that!

The song “My Love” is a 2013 song of his that was re-released late last year on the 35th anniversary of his debut. They re-arranged it as a duet and he specifically requested to sing with King Taeyeon;)

I love the collab on "my Love". The collab is like the collab of Baekhyun with Seomoontak, a collab with a legend in the industry. Lee Seung Chul has pretty famous songs. Like "My Love" is his. Recently he had his 35th anniversary with the song "We were" produced by AKMU's Lee Chanhyuk. It's a nice song, many solo ballad singers (many of my favorites) did a full version of it as well and it was mashed up later then. Might be interesting to check it out and see singers you won't hear without it since they're not idols (besides Lee Suhyun who has a fantastic solo version as well). The names are written there as well, if you like someone and want to hear more. Korean ballad singers are insanely talented.
