Thanks for your honest reaction! I love this! It's so fun and creative! It is A LOT, very neo, and can be overwhelming, but there are so many Easter eggs in the MV, the dance, and the lyrics. For example, you mentioned that it reminds you of "Teach me how to Dougie" and I don't know if you caught it, but that's actually part of the lyrics. Anyway, I would love for you to check out the rest of the album. Taeyong wrote and composed all of the songs, and they sound quite different from this one. One thing about Taeyong is that he doesn't stick to just one genre. Thanks!

This is SM style (changing beats) and it had so much neo vibe in it which suit NCT NEO CONCEPT. He did well imo 💚. Every group or artist hafta follow their original concept. And i love how NCT tries new themes and weird neo music desptine the hate they got for it. For me, it's good that they are original, not copying others concept 💚. TY for reaction 🎉
TAEYONG is not gonna be safe. He is an artist. He is no "idol" who serves you the usual Kpop formula and keeps you in your confort zone. I am glad to see that Shalala is not popular with everybody. It tells me TAEYONG is doing something right. Cause the amount of dull, average Kpop crap that get cheers and hailed as masterpieces, it's honestly embarrassing. This is TAEYONG, with his unique signature, alternative, indie, experimental vibe, always pushing the boundaries. He's no fraud, he is true to his identity as an artist. Not forgetting his amazing talent as a rapper, a dancer and a performer. The MV is a trip. Creative as fuck. The monster beat with this funky bass line, TAEYONG's masterful flow, the Choreo cool and fire at the same time. Shalala is a vibe. A funky vibe. The more I listen to the track the more I love it. The B sides are good as well. My favourite is 404 file not found, a real gem! For those who have never listened to TAEYONG SoundCloud tracks, maybe now is the right time to do it. He's definitely not a Kpop "idol". Thank GOD!

Thank you for the reaction sir! Even tho u disliked the song I‘d love to know ur opinion or mark‘s new solo "golden hour". Nct songs are very experimental so it‘s not everyone‘s cup of tea. But I have a feeling u might like the new Nct song called "perfume". It‘s fine if u don’t react to the songs but I‘d love to know ur opinion to both these songs.
I think it's probably too much when you try to pay attention to the lyrics, the music, the video and his performance. Right now I mostly paid attention to the images because I've heard the song a thousand times already 😂 and it was really interesting in terms of narrative. But yeah, the quick changes make it harder.
