what is Taeyongs talent? so hard to answer because hes talented at everything XD, maybe I could say his hard work and passion which has lead him to become an ace and a true artist. He was street casted outside his school because of his looks and at first he struggled because he didn't know anything about music or dancing to the point one of his trainers told him that he would never make it and get good at dancing, thats all he needed to hear to want and prove him wrong because just one year later he was basically teaching other trainees to dance and making choreographies and taking the central position in their dances. He also worked really hard on his rapping and started writing and composing songs since he was a trainee and also started to work on his singing which I personally love because even though it might not be technically perfect he has a big range and it holds so much emotion and makes the listener feel what hes singing about. Please listen to all the songs in shalala because theyre so amazing and then listen to the songs in TAP because theyre a literal masterpiece. Taeyong uses his life experience and opens up in such a beautiful way with his lyrics and how he incorporates different beats and genres into his music takes you into a trip with every song.
Thank you for your reaction, Taeyong is the leader of nct127, main dancer, main rapper, center and sub singer, but he is also a choreographer, lyricist and composer, TAP is his second mini album of which he, like the first SHALALA, wrote and composed all the songs with the help of 3 of his producer friends, as a non-kpop fan I strongly advise you to listen to the bsides of his albums because TY offers a wide choice of different musical styles, TAP is perhaps the most "kpop" song he has created so far, in his albums, you will find R&B, Jazzy, Rock, Drum & Bass, Hip-Hop, Heavy Rap etc... in short, a very varied choice for music enjoyers

Start with the first albums of the discography of nct127 & nct U (in particular the album empathy for the unit U) Taeyong has a lot of lyrist and choreographer credits for these two units, also, the quality began to decline when there was a change of direction within the label which became much more nepotic and classist and the musical quality suffered.👍
if I may say so 127 music has definitely not declined or suffered, they always continue to improve and theyre very involved with the process and standards, specially having Taeyong as the leader. can't say the same for the rest of the units and brand albums tho, I definitely dont enjoy their stuff anymore, for NCT U after 2021 some songs are good but its usually the 127 heavy ones which brings me back to my first statement :'D @@lau.k6460
