I'm so happy that I converted together with my family! I managed to read the entire Qur'an and started to lecture my parents about it in hopes it will increase their knowledge in Islam. Surprisingly enough, we started reading the Qur'an together and they'd cry every time. Supposedly, they couldn't contain their emotions and it honestly touched their heart! Right now, they are very invested in our religion but my mom has decided that she doesn't want to wear the hijab and I respect her decision. Either way, it all had gone good

You are my Lord. There is no god except You. You have created, I am Your slave, I hold to Your Covenant as far as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge the favours that You have bestowed upon me and I confess my sins. Pardon me, for none but You has the power to pardon).

Surah Al-Kawthar Ayat 1: اِنَّاۤ اَعْطَيْنٰكَ الْكَوْثَرَ ؕ Meaning: We Have Given You The Greatest, The Most Abundant Good. Ayat 2: فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ ؕ Meaning: Pray For The Sake Of Your Master And Sacrifice. Ayat 3 : اِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْاَبْتَرُ Meaning: Indeed, Your Enemy is The One Cut Off.

8 major benefits of Astaghfar in the Quran. 1. It opens the doors of mercy. The Quran says, “Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver.”[Quran 71:10] 2. It will give you wealth and children. The Quran says, “And give you increase in wealth and children.” [Quran, 71:12] 3. A Believer’s Dua gets accepted. There’s nothing better for a believer that all the duas that he or she makes in hopes that they will one day get accepted by their lord, actually get fulfilled. Astagfirullah has the power to make a Muslim’s duas get accepted. 4. Astagfar provides sustenance. The Quran says, “Seek forgiveness of your Lord and repent to Him, [and] He will let you enjoy a good provision for a specified term and give every doer of favour his favour” [Quran, 11:3] 5. A Muslim is not punished while they seek forgiveness. The Quran says, “And Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness ” [Quran, 8:33] 6. Allah will send the rain of mercy. The Quran says, “He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers.” [Quran, 71:11] 7. Adding strength in our lives. The Quran says, “. . . ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in showers and increase you in strength [added] to your strength.” [Quran 11:52] 8. Allah will provide you with gardens and rivers. The Quran says, “. . . and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers.” [Quran, 71:12]
