Great video. I remember turning 30 and it was like over night; I realized what mattered in my life and what didn't. I am almost 34 now, and I have grown so much since my sudden realization of all of these things. I suppose we start gaining our wisdom in our 30's. Thank You for taking the time to do this video. I believe it can really help a lot of youngsters and older folks that have forgotten how to live.

There aren't many people in my life I can say I truly look up to and respect but I am so glad I discovered your channel because you're the essence of what I wish to be one day. Thanks for sharing your light

Your comment about relationships is spot on. I wasted YEARS in a rollercoaster relationship because I didn't want to be alone. When it ended, I thought the world would end but it turned out to be a complete blessing. I am now with a man who treats me like a queen and I couldn't be happier! This was a great video - you are a very inspirational person, Christine. I love your channel!

You have truly inspired me! Thank you so much for taking the time to share in this video :) You are definitely wise beyond your years, I'm 43, and still learning about life and trying to accept myself through mistakes made, time lost, and putting others first before taking care of well-being. I stayed at a job that was bad for my health, my marriage, and my state of mind. It's only once you're out of that situation, that you realize that you can do better, and deserve better!!! Thank goodness I had good support from my loving husband and family to come out on top! I'm a new fan, I look forward to all your upcoming videos!! I love all the dupes and favourite videos, we have the same taste in colors and makeup!

I so agree about the waste of time thing...Don't try to change anyone. It is so much healthier to just break ties and move on. I am so much happier now and although at the time it seemed like I couldn't live without em..here I am living, happily.

I've been watching a lot of your videos lately, and I think you're lovely. I like to watch make-up tutorials and such, they relax me and inspire me to feel better about myself (perhaps slightly contradictory). Yours are so refreshing in how uplifting, positive and yet critical they are. This one is beautiful. Girls enjoy makeup because it's a creative way of expressing oneself and enhancing natural beauty. Of course sometimes we like our more dramatic looks but it's not at all about low self esteem rather we view it as an art form, like painting on a canvas.

This was superb Christine! For years I was miserable in my job and everybody around me was like well that's life we all have to work! I was and still am determined to do what I love! I want to wake up each day happy knowing I've made the right choices for me!

That was beautiful. You should be proud of yourself and I'm sure your mom is very proud to have a daughter like you.. I have watched a few of your makeup videos and really liked them a lot. And after watching this video(actually, listening, cuz for some reason the visual was all messed up), I just think that you have a beautiful personality and way of looking at life. That was wonderful advice for people and such a great, positive outlook. I actually started getting teary eyed with you too! Very nice, good job!!

Everything you said is so true and I wish lots of others, would follow this advice! Stress and fear take so much away from this short life we have, we all need to embrace and enjoy ourselves first to make a difference, you seem to have done your self love homework which makes you a natural gifted inspiring soul! These are great points, especially about money. Stress is mostly cause by that and it is hard to get on your feet sometimes. I also wish I can learn to get out there as you said. I sure hope I do not learn many of these too late. Thanks for sharing because you really inspire me.

Words of wisdom. I wish my mom would talk about these kinds of things.

First, I stopped focusing on everyone else and what I thought they thought of me. Second, I started focusing on myself, getting to know myself, hobbies I enjoy, my likes, dislikes, developing my own style and taste, learning to love myself, respecting my body by working out and eating right, realizing all my "imperfections" actually just made me more unique. Aim to become solid, secure and confident in who you are. Do you want to know the secret to sexy? Self confidence. ;)

Such a great and inspirational video. I agree with all of it. I get a lot of stick from people my age (almost 23) because I barely drink, am not a party animal and have always been into different kind of music. People sometimes sneer, but that's fine because I literally have a tiny number of friends that I love to pieces and that's all I need. Be proud of who you are and don't change for ANYONE :)

Loved it, totally wish I had known these things as well, I sent this to my girls, they are both almost 16. Hope this helps them. I had a similar upbringing so I could totally relate!

I totally agree with you when it comes to relationships. I wasted my time on most of the relationships in my 20s. I am 29 now soon to be30 and I am in a great relationship where we both have plans to someday be married to each other. But at the same time I think you have to go through a bad relationship or two to really see the light.
