Since we are locked down due to the ECQ again or whatever Q is that, I’m sharing another youtube video on how to pay your sss loan online through Unionbank Online.
I’ve been paying my SSS loan online through the Moneygment app since November 2020 and March 2021. On April 3, I was about to pay my loan due in the Moneygment app but I couldn’t proceed since I cannot generate a PRN for my SSS loan. I’ve sent a message in the Moneygment Messenger account but they told me it’s not available as of that day.
I understand that there will be some error in generating PRN for SSS loan in SSS website kasi undergoing ang pagimplement ng mandatory use of RTPL (Real-Time Processing of Loans (RTPL) para makapagbayad ng SSS loan.
With that, I’ve been regularly monitoring this serye from SSS kasi kating-kati na po ako magbayad thru online para magawa ko narin tong article nato.
I’m a sucker of saving time by paying bills thru online kaya I’m eagerly looking for ways on how to do it.
What you will need:
SSS Online Account
Unionbank Online Account
STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL ON HOW TO PAY YOUR SSS LOAN THROUGH UNIONBANK
First, log-in thru your SSS online account, you may click this link for fast access: member.sss.gov.ph/members/
Type in your username, password
Click the checkbox just beside: I’M NOT A ROBOT
Click SUBMIT
Click RTPL PRN
Then Click PRN
Copy PRN - it is located below the barcode. Mine starts with ICXXXXXXXXXX
copy your RPTL
Second, Go to UNIONBANK online account: Union Bank of the Philippines
Type in your username, password
Click the checkbox just beside: I’M NOT A ROBOT
Click SUBMIT
Click PAY BILLS
Click SELECT BILLER
Click BILLER LIST
Type SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM
Then SELECT “SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM (SSS)
Then Click NEXT
Then, it will show and confirm the details. So, un sakin nagmatch un records ko. In this case, I will proceed and Click PAY
Type the OTP, and Click SUBMIT
After that, you’re already through and let’s just wait for the payment to be reflected in your SSS online account.
POSTSCRIPT:
I will update you on if it’s already okay to pay your SSS loan through Gcash or Security Bannk. I will have to confirm this through SSS. It’s better maging sigurado kaysa masayang ang perang naipon pambayad sa loan nyo.
Right now kasi, nagpoproceed un RPTL PRN ko sa Gcash pero ang option lang is CONTRIBUTIONS. So baka magkaproblem kaya I need to verify this muna before I encourage you to use this. Same goes with Security Bank Online, CONTRIBUTIONS lang din un option.
How to pay sss loan through GCash
So sa mga self-employed and voluntary members na kagaya ko, this is the best option for now, to pay it through Unionbank Online Account. Kung wala pa kayo, I suggest you create one kasi no need to go to any branch. You can open an online account through their mobile app. Another option is to ask someone, kakilala or relatives na makibayad muna kayo. Iready nyo lang un RPTL PRN nyo.
This tutorial also works for paying voluntary, ofw, and self employed SSS membership contributions.
